11 Best Blog Writing Services Reviewed
1. contentellect.

#1 on my list of best blog writing services is Contentellect .
Sure, we’re a bit biased, but after reviewing all of the top blog content writing agencies, it’s clear that Contentellect offers a superior service.
The main thing that sets Contentellect apart is their editorial and management process.
Every client at Contentellect gets assigned a dedicated account manager whose job it is to brief and assign content orders to writers. Account managers also proofread and edit content, so no work is ever returned to a client before a full editorial process is completed.
This means quality control is top-notch.
From a client's perspective, Contentellect are also great to work with as you have a dedicated person to talk to and ensure your content deliverable is perfect.
I was actually really surprised that most of the services and content marketplaces below don't have this level of editorial and management control. Contentellect offers different blog writing packages. You can order on a pay as you go basis, setup a monthly blog article plan, or indeed order in bulk (10k-100k words at a time). The content on offer includes blog articles, eBooks , and product descriptions .
Contentellect offers simple and transparent pricing. They charge $0.10 per word for their PAYG and Monthly Packages, and as low as $0.07 per word for their bulk service.
For an additional but affordable cost, clients can also get add-on services like image sourcing, keyword research and publishing.
All writers are native English speakers, you get unlimited edits and revisions, every article is expertly proofread and optimized for search engines, and there is a complete money-back guarantee if you’re not happy. This single standard price per word model is an easier solution than the pricing models offered by other blog writing services.

2. Compose.ly

Compose.ly comes second in our list of best blog writing services due to the high-quality content on offer.
Compose.ly offers three types of content writing packages (self-service membership, managed service subscription, and custom projects).
You can get just about any type of content you want to be written by a large team of experienced writers.
Ordering content on Compose.ly is a great experience. You create a profile that gives you access to a dashboard where all of your content is managed. From here, you can easily order new content.
In terms of pricing, Compose.ly is on the more expensive side, starting at $74.95 for a 500-word blog post (i.e. $0.15 per word). However, you pay for high-quality content and writers that are experienced in your niche.
As of writing Composely have a 4.4/5 rating (12 reviews) on Trustpilot and 5/5 rating (3 reviews) on G2 .
Compose.ly really delivers when it comes to their content quality. I was impressed with what I received in my Compose.ly review , and I could tell that it was written by a content marketer that knew exactly what they were doing.
- High-quality content
- Very efficient ordering and content management process
- Wide range of content types are available
- Good communication and customer support
3. ContentFly

ContentFly is one of the top blog writing services out there.
It’s a more expensive blog writing service, and it’s not ideal for ordering once-off blog posts, but you get some great blog content in return.
ContentFly offers a wide range of writing services (like blog articles, landing page copy, email marketing copy, etc) that are easy to order online.
Pricing
All content is easily ordered online through your dashboard. When ordering, you can choose between three different tiers of writers at three different price ranges.
You can’t just order a single blog post, but have to set a monthly word count, starting at 4000 words. This starts at a minimum of $375 that needs to be paid in advance before you can order any content.
As of writing ContentFly have a 4/5 rating (18 reviews) on Trustpilot and 5/5 rating (3 reviews) on G2 .
Content Quality
ContentFly delivers great quality blog posts. They have a large pool of experienced writers that deliver content within 5 days. The blog article I ordered required a small bit of rework, but I did choose a lower-tier writer. You pay more for ContentFly, but you receive a much better service than most.
- Easy content ordering process
- Multiple content options
- Huge writer pool available
- Quality content
- A more expensive content writing service You can only order bulk word counts

Verblio had to be high up on our list of best blog writing services due to the really efficient content ordering system and overall quality delivered.
Verblio offers a wide range of writing services through five different plans based on word count. These range from 300 words to 2000 words.
One of the best things about Verblio is how easy it is to order content online. It only takes a few minutes, but you get to include all kinds of special requests and make your order very detailed.
Verblio offers basic blog writing services or more advanced packages that include SEO optimization, publishing, image sourcing, and more. You can even order videos to match your blog content.
It’s a pricey blog writing service, with content starting at $34.95 for 300 words (that's just under $0.12 per word), but you get what you pay for.
As of writing Verblio have a 5/5 rating (19 reviews) on G2 .
The quality of Verblio’s blog writing services can’t be faulted. You pay for high-quality content marketers, and this is what you receive. The 72 hour turnaround time is efficient for the high quality that they deliver.
- Very easy sign-up and order process
- Various extras available (like video and SEO)
- Expensive You can’t just order a single blog post
5. Crowd Content

Crowd Crowd is more of a content marketplace than a writing agency. They've been around for many years so I was keen to test them out and see how they performed.
In short their sign-up and ordering process is very slick, but I was a little underwhelmed with the content quality.
I'm always a little suspicious of content writing services that segment writers by price and quality. Crowd Content have 4 tiers of writers. I used there tier 3 writer service, which was okay, but by no means amazing. It made me think that their tier 1 and 2 writers had to be non-native English speakers.
Overall the experience for pretty good, but it did feel like more of a content-mill than the services mentioned above.
Admittedly, the pricing is more affordable, and if I was pushed to use a marketplace I would rather use Crowd Content than say, Textbroker.
Crowd Content pricing is based on their 4 different writer bands, as follows:
- 1 Star Writer: $0.03 per word
- 2 Star Writer: $0.04 per word
- 3 Star Writer: $0.088 per word
- 4 Star Writer: $0.135 per word
As of writing Crowd Content have a 3/5 rating (8 reviews) on TrustPilot and 0.5/5 rating on G2 .
The article I received from Crowd Content was okay. I used a 3-Star writer so was expecting decent quality. What I received was well written. I could see the writer was a native English speaker. But the depth of insight felt a little lacking.
- Really easy sign-up and ordering process
- Big writer pool with fast turnaround times
- Ability to work with the same writers
- Unlimited revisions
- Tiered writers undersells the service - personally I would avoid 1 and 2 Star writers.

iWriter is a good blog article writing service, but they also offer other copywriting services, like web page copy, product descriptions, Kindle books, and more.
Their SEO blog writing services are also pretty effective, and the quality of content I received was okay but I fear that with the different price tiers, the quality overall can be quite inconsistent.
iWriter has a really straightforward online ordering process.
The service caters to all budgets, with various pricing tiers. While this makes it easy to get content that matches your budget, it also means their content quality is pretty inconsistent.
iWriter is one of the most affordable blog writing services, with content available for only $8.25 for 1000 words. However, this means the quality of the content is definitely questionable.
As of writing iWriter have a 4.2/5 rating (53 reviews) on TrustPilot and 3.9/5 rating on G2 .
There are many appealing elements of iWriter, like the fast turnaround times, cheap blog writing services, and really easy ordering process. The problem is, the quality of the content isn’t always there.
- Very easy to sign up and order content
- Fast turnaround times
- Affordable content writing services
- Large pool of writers available
- Inconsistent content quality
7. SEO Butler

SEO Butler has a pretty comprehensive offering to improve your site’s search engine rankings. Their online blog writing services are straightforward, consistent, and of good quality.
Signing up and ordering content through SEO Butler couldn’t get any easier. You can just add the content you want to your cart, and easily check out. Compared to other blog writing subscription services, SEO Butler offers a convenient solution for anyone wanting to order single blog posts. SEO Butler offers different prices for the different types of content that they offer. Regular blog content is available at $0.07 per word.
I didn't find any 3rd party reviews of SEO Butler on Trustpilot or G2.
SEO Butler offers a consistent level of good quality content. I was happy with the content I received for my SEO Butler review. It required a few small edits, but there were no major issues that I found.
- Simple and transparent pricing system
- Various SEO products are available
- Very simple signup and order process
- Orders include edits and rewrites
- No option to choose specific writers
- Turnaround time can be pretty long
8. Textbroker

Textbroker is a straightforward blog writing service that offers a wide range of copywriting options. It’s easy to sign up for as a client, and there are all kinds of different content options and pricing structures available.
Textbroker is quite different from the other best blog writing services in this list through the way that you order content.
Instead of just requesting and paying for content, you can be more specific about which writers you choose to work with.
The pricing structure is a little confusing. You pay for different levels of quality at different prices. This starts at around $20 for a 1000 word article and goes up to over $70 for higher-level writers.
As of writing TextBroker have a 2.7/5 rating (32 reviews) on TrustPilot and 4.7/5 (3 reviews) rating on G2 .
For my Textbroker review, I chose a mid-range writer and I wasn’t entirely happy with the quality of the content I received. It required a fair amount of reworking before I would publish the article. That being said, you can always pay a higher rate for better quality content. I’m sure the top-level writers produce good work, but you just have to know who to work with.
- Affordable prices
- A good level of flexibility when choosing writers and content types
- Easy to use dashboard
- Confusing pricing system Inconsistent quality of content
9. BKA Content

BKA Content is a good blog writing service, although they don’t stand out as being one of the best.
BKA Content offers a pretty wide range of different writing services. This includes blog posts at three different plans (subscription, standard, and pro), web pages, eCommerce content, and custom products like press releases and metadata.
You can also get BKA Content to help with keyword research and creating your social media posts.
BKA Content works just like any good online blog writing service. You create a profile, choose your type of content, fill out your order form, and wait for your content to be ready. Standard blog posts cost $0.075 per word, and Pro blog posts cost $0.13 per word. SEO optimized monthly subscriptions start at $195 per month.
I didn't find any 3rd party reviews of BKA Content on Trustpilot or G2.
For my BKA Content review, I ordered a standard blog post and was slightly underwhelmed. The blog content quality wasn't good enough to publish without significant edits. Perhaps the pro blog post service would result in better quality.
- Easy and efficient ordering process
- Options for self-service and fully managed content
- Two pricing options are available
- You can add extras to your content (like keyword research and social media posts)
- Editing requires an additional fee
- No control over who writes your content for you
10. Constant Content

Constant Content offers flexible blog article writing services to match different budgets and preferences. One of the things that really sets Constant Content apart is that you can buy custom content that is written to order, or you can purchase ready-made blog articles from their library of over 100K titles. Constant Content has a long list of different types of content on offer, and a large pool of writers to cater to this.
You sign up for Constant Content by creating a basic profile, and then you can start to order content. Setting up a brief is pretty standard, but then requesting the writer can get confusing. Instead of ordering content at a flat rate, the platform has a large pool of writers that each work at different rates based on the quality of their services. The average price for a catalog article is $40, the average price for custom content is $120, and this can fluctuate a lot depending on which writer you choose.
The quality of the content will vary depending on which writer you choose to work with. If you want better quality content, you pay a higher price. From my experience, the content I received was not worth what I paid for. Compared to the other best blog writing services, Constant Content let me down. However, this could have been different if I had chosen a more advanced writer.
- A lot of flexibility for choosing writers
- You can choose content that matches your budget
- Large writer pool
- You can set your own deadlines for the content
- Choosing writers can be confusing
- Lack of consistency with pricing and writing quality

Last on our list of best blog writing services is Copify .
Copify offers a range of writing services that can be ordered through their online platform. This includes blog writing services, web page copy, reviews, email copywriting, or any custom content requests you have.
Setting up your orders on Copify is relatively easy. You just fill out your content request on your profile, pay for your content, and wait for it to be delivered. Copify has a flat rate for all content which makes things really easy to manage. They charge $0.07 per word plus VAT for a standard, one-off blog post. More advanced content orders can get more expensive, but you always pay the same rate for the same consistency. The turnaround time is very fast. You can also request keyword research from Copify, and they can publish your blog posts for you.
This is where Copify let me down. The quality of the content just wasn’t up to the same standard as some of the other top-rated professional blog writing services that I tried out. Besides the quality, the service is easy to use, efficient, and it offers a good range of content options.
- Fast turnaround time
- Wide range of content options is available
- Copify offers SEO keyword research services
- Straightforward and simple order process
- Content quality could be improved
- Contact with a salesperson is required before creating an account
- No option to choose your writer
- Customer service could be improved

Choosing The Best Blog Writing Service: 10 Top Options Compared

Written by Michael Graw

Starting a blog is one of the best ways to get your company noticed. Adding a blog not only boosts your SEO, but also helps to establish your brand as an industry leader and authority.
A blog also helps connect customers to your company and keep them engaged. The next time they need a product or service your company offers, you’ll be top of mind.
Establishing a high-quality blog is easier than ever before, in large part because you can hire a professional writer to help you with the task. With so many options out there, however, choosing the right blog writing service for your business can be challenging.
To make the process simpler, we’ll highlight ten of the top writing services you can enlist to produce targeted, engaging blog content for your audience.
Finding the best blog service for your business
Before we dive in, it will help to have an idea of what you should be looking for. To ensure you’re always receiving quality content, consider these factors:
Blog writing services differ a lot in what topics they can cover and how well they can cover them. Content writers with a background in fashion probably aren’t suitable for a blog about cryptocurrencies. Make sure the service you choose can supply niche writers with experience in your company’s field.
How much content creation do you need? One writer might be enough if you’re launching a new blog, but supercharging a marketing campaign with a large audience might require a full writer team working on your behalf. Find out whether the blog writing service you choose can scale your custom content if your blog takes off.
Other Services
Blogs accomplish the most when they’re part of a broader marketing plan. Think about whether you need help with more than just content writing—say, social media posts to advertise your blog, SEO improvement, email marketing, or even graphic design. Some blogging services have content marketing experts on hand, but many don’t.
The ultimate goal behind establishing a blog is to see a return on investment. So, it’s essential that your online writing service charges an amount that’s commensurate with the value you’re getting in return. Budget services may be helpful to get a blog off the ground, but expect to pay more for expert writers with experience in niche topics.
Always Verify Writing Samples
When hiring experienced writers, they will usually provide samples or a portfolio of their previous work. However, it always pays to verify these samples by asking following up questions or providing a quick writing task.
There are a small number of people (usually non-native English speakers) who claim other people's work as their own. Unfortunately, this only becomes apparent after you've hired the writer and waited for them to deliver their first blog article.
The Top 10 Blog Writing Services
With the above in mind, let’s take a look at the best blog writing services you can use to boost your business.
1. Eleven Writing
Offering genuine topic-expert writers and qualified editors, Eleven routinely helps both small and industry-leading companies build authoritative blogs from scratch.
{{publisher}}
If you need a blog covering environmental science, Eleven will assign qualified writers with degrees in biology and earth science. For programming articles, Eleven will assign computer science academics with years of experience teaching software development. The same principle applies to all other topics.
As Eleven is a consolidated service, quality control is also a forte. All work is reviewed by a qualified editor before it is delivered for publication. And, importantly, Eleven also provides a dedicated project manager to help with content guidelines, bespoke recruitment, and improving project workflows.
2. The Hoth
Looking to put your blog on autopilot? The Hoth promises a hands-off approach that makes it easy to build a blog with very little work on your part. Just submit a brief description of the content you’re looking for during the ordering process, and The Hoth’s content marketing writers will take it from there. They’ll even publish your new original material on your website for you based on your posting schedule.
The Hoth has several different SEO optimized blog writing services to match any budget. They all give you access to a writing team that can match your company’s voice and provide unlimited revisions. However, you’ll need to sign up for the Pro blogging service if you want to secure a qualified writer with experience specific to your industry.
This content creation service may be an especially good choice if you want to build your brand identity across the web, not just on your blog. The Hoth offers additional services like content marketing to get your blog articles noticed by the search engines.
You can also sign up for guest blogging services, link building, and a managed service for turning your blog post into YouTube videos.
3. Scripted
On the Scripted platform, you can connect with thousands of freelance writers, which is very different to working with a firm.
There are benefits and drawbacks to this model, depending on what you’re looking for. On the one hand, it takes more work upfront to find a blogger who suits your needs. You’re responsible for vetting applications and negotiating a blog package with the writer you choose. As with all freelance platforms, some trial and error may be required before you find your star writer. On the other hand, you get access to thousands of professional writers.
That means that no matter how niche your topic, you’re almost certain to find a writer with an expert opinion on Scripted. You can also hire as many writers as you need to help you turbocharge your SEO by posting content more frequently or developing guest posts on other websites.
In general, Scripted works best if you need a single writer to produce steady blog content rather than a one-off post. On top of the work involved in finding the right writer for your website, and the cost of the project, the platform charges a $150 monthly membership fee.
Verblio takes a unique approach to the content creation process. Instead of you finding a writer, writers find you. Just post your content request on the site, and writers can submit drafts in response.
One of the biggest benefits of being a Verblio customer is that you only pay for the content you want to use. Of all the drafts submitted to your request by different Verblio writers, you select the one you like the most and pay only for that piece. Since writers come to you, it’s incredibly easy to find a niche writer whose experience perfectly matches the topic you want to build a blog strategy around.
However, there is a drawback to Verblio. Naturally, its model raises the question of whether writers willing to risk working for free on these drafts (as they may not be selected) are as experienced and professional as those at other firms.
Another factor to note — Verblio sorts its writers into tiers, and the higher-ranked writers cost more, as do additional options such as content formatting for your website and SEO optimized content.
Upwork is another marketplace where you can connect with thousands of freelance writers and writing agencies. It’s easy to offer work for hire for a one-off post, a recurring blog, or something even bigger. There are no platform fees for clients, and you have the freedom to negotiate with potential writers. In addition, you can find SEO specialists and marketing experts on Upwork who can help you build a content plan to get the most bang for your buck.
This platform also stands out for offering access to writers from around the globe. Want to increase your brand’s international presence? There’s no better way to accomplish that than with a multilingual blog written by the most savvy writers Upwork has to offer.
The catch to using Upwork as your blogging service is that hiring a professional writer takes time. Most requests get proposals within 24 hours, but you’re on your own to vet and test out candidates. While Upwork has writers to fit every niche, it can be somewhat harder to find them on this platform than on some of the others we recommended.
iWriter is an a la carte blogging service where anyone can hire experienced writers to produce high-quality content. All you have to do is describe the content you want written, enter a set of target keywords, and set thresholds for key elements like word count. Then a writer on the platform will pick up the article and deliver your custom content.
iWriter can be affordable and convenient for topics that don't require a high level of expertise. Writers on the platform are skilled at taking a brief content description and running with it. However, you don't get a lot of back and forth with the writer who works on your article, so creating more complex or niche content through iWriter can be challenging.
7. Express Writers
Express Writers is a good option when turnaround times are tight. This company has a pool of writers on staff who can cover a wide range of topics and deliver finished blog articles in a matter of days. Despite the fast turnaround, the writing quality is consistently strong.
The drawback to Express Writers is that it's not one of the more affordable blog writing services. Fees for expert blog writers start at $0.19 per word, which is pricey even for top-tier copywriting services.
8. Human Proof Designs
Human Proof Designs is a full-service agency that offers marketing, SEO services, web development, and content creation. What stands out about this service is that it offers monthly subscriptions that include 2-20 articles per month. Human Proof Designs will even upload your articles at no extra cost, putting your blog on autopilot.
Human Proof Designs might be too simple for many businesses, however. The service doesn't offer much in the way of customization or niche content. You can request revisions on an article, but you're essentially at the mercy of writers to come up with good subject matter in the first place.
9. Compose.ly
Compose.ly offers fresh content for your blog through either a self-service marketplace or a managed content service. The self-service marketplace is ideal for single blog posts and site owners who want to take an active role in the writing process. The managed content service offers a dedicated team to handle your blog for you.
Compose.ly is somewhat expensive, with managed content plans starting at $999 per month. If you can afford it, though, the service offers reliably high-quality content that can boost your search engine rankings.
10. ContentFly
ContentFly offers access to a team of blog content writers who can cover a wide variety of topics and help your site's SEO while doing it. This service is particularly worth a look if you need multiple blog articles each month, as there's a minimum of 4,000 words per month and pricing starts at just $375 per month.
One thing to keep in mind about ContentFly is that there are three different content quality tiers to choose from when placing an order. Lower-tier blog content might work for some types of sites, but in our opinion we'd rather rely on a service that never compromises on quality.
Hiring the right blog writing service
Launching, maintaining or expanding a high-quality blog is something that most businesses simply don’t have the bandwidth to do in-house. But hiring the right blog writing service for your business can help you increase your online presence and position your company as an authority in your industry.
Having a strong blog helps you rank for more search terms in Google so you can reach more potential customers and grow your business.
With these five leading content writing agencies, you have all you need to outsource your blog content and receive quality writing every time.

Content Pit is a US-based blog content creation agency with a reputation for running a quality professional blog writing service .
As per their homepage, they don't engage in the old school method of churning out low-quality 300 to 500-word " search engine blog articles", like perhaps other blog writing services. Instead, their focus is on quality blog posts that deliver user intent.
The price per word for blog posts is reasonable for the high quality blog content they provide. So while they aren't the cheapest, they serve a nice middle area between expensive professional blog writers and beginners.
Pros of Using Content Pit:
- Managed process from start to finish
- Fast turnaround for the price
- High quality blog content for the price
- 100% money-back guarantee

Textbroker is one of the oldest content production platforms around. The company is a content mill, meaning they hire large numbers of writers to churn out content quickly with potentially varying degrees of quality.
I have personally written and purchased from Textbroker; I can honestly say it's a mixed bag. Most of the content on the website is through the open market, where writers can choose the articles they write at their own will.
The issue here is that you may not get a writer knowledgeable on the topic of the article .
Also, the quality of content can vary drastically between writers, despite Textbroker's writer ranking system.
Because this isn't a managed process, you're responsible for article briefs. This process can lead to confusion on the writer's side if you aren't clear about what you want.
However, overall, it can be a good option if you understand the process and how to get the most out of the writers.
Pros of Using Textbroker:
- Bulk article creation
- Plenty of writers to work with
- Easy to get set up and started
- Suitable for niche and affiliate content
Cons of Using Textbroker:
- Content quality may vary

Pricing is similar to companies like Textbroker, with both monthly packages and one-off articles available.
Pros of Using Content Development Pros:
- Monthly packages available
- A wide variety of niches served
- Complimentary services (social, eBooks, etc.)
Cons of Using Content Development Pros:
- The website is a bit hard to navigate

The wording on the FAQ page for both sites is also the same.
As with Content Flip, this might be a good source for shorter articles for niche and authority sites.
Pros of Using Blog Supply Co:

Pros of Using Content Runner:

Bonus: Hiring Your Team of Writers
Using one of the best blog writing services will make more sense for those on a tighter budget or limited time. However, one downside of using a managed writing service is that you sacrifice a bit of control over the quality, payment, and output. You'll also have to do all of the keyword research yourself.
If you have the time and money and want more focused results, hiring a team of writers can be the way to go.
Below is a selection of job boards where quality writers can be found.

The ProBlogger Job Board is one of the oldest writer job boards around. It was founded by Darren Rowse in 2004 and quickly gained a reputation as a place to source quality writers.
Pricing for a single listing to buy blog writing services available is $75. You can pay more for a featured listing and even look through candidate profiles to find a freelance blog writers that meet your criteria.
Problogger is an incredibly popular place for writers to look for jobs. While this is good in that you will likely get applications from high-quality writers, the problem is that you will also get many applications from writers you don't want.
It's not unheard of for listings to receive hundreds and even thousands of responses. To find the right candidate and easily avoid the wrong ones, it's essential to have a system for quickly moving through applications.
Pros of Using The ProBlogger Job Board:
- Cheap to post listings
- Usually, a high number of responses
- Well known among freelance writers
- Resources to help you succeed in hiring
Cons of Using The ProBlogger Job Board:
- Response numbers can be overwhelming
(For the sake of disclosure, I was hired to write for Niche Pursuits from the ProBlogger Job Board.)

Upwork is one of the largest platforms for freelancers to offer their services. The website allows service providers to post profiles that potential clients can look through.
The website makes it easy to find the best talent through a review-based rating system, and service providers are allowed to set their prices.
As a result, you will likely find that the best writers on the platform cost as much or more than top-level blog writing services.
One of the best things about Upwork is there are writers for almost every type of content you could ever need. Regardless of the niche you serve, it's possible to find a topic expert using the website.
Turnaround times will vary based on the service provider and what you negotiate with them.
Pros of Using Upwork:
- Thousands of writers
- Writers at all budget levels
- Almost all niches covered
- Easy to manage and pay writers
Cons of Using Upwork:
- Good writers will be expensive
It can be hard to choose between Upwork and Fiverr, so to help you make a more informed decision, you can read about the benefits of both and find out which is more suitable for your needs.

The BloggingPro Job Board is similar in format and function to the ProBlogger Job board. In addition, the cost to post an ad is similar to BloggingPro, with a few quality control requirements.
All jobs posted to the board are required to pay at least $15 per hour (or per 500 words) and must be approved before your listing will appear. No job is accepted that doesn't pay that much or offers internships or blogging for exposure offers.

The downside of Freelance Writing Jobs is that the traffic is less than BloggingPro or ProBlogger. While this probably won't affect your ability to find qualified writers, it may take a bit longer to do so.
Pros of Using Freelance Writing Jobs:
- Cheaper than similar job boards
- Easy to submit a listing
- Potentially less competition
- Listings good for one month

The one downside to Fiverr is that the best writers are usually booked to the extent that turnaround times may be longer.
It's also possible that highly rated writers may be out of your budget range.
Pricing varies based on the individual writer . Most writers will offer multiple packages, so it's important to understand what you get before booking a writer.
Pros of Using Fiverr:
- A large number of high-quality writers
- Pricing to fit all budgets

Pros of Using Craigslist:
- Posting a job can be free to low cost
- Well known as a place to find jobs
- Likely to get many responses
- Can post in target market cities
Cons of Using Craigslist:
- No quality control for candidates
Why Hire A Blog Writing Service?
The reasons for using a blog writing service are plentiful. Using one will save you time and money and help you scale your website faster.
Some of the core factors for using one of the above services include:

Creating blog posts takes a lot of time and can cost a lot of money.
If you're trying to write high quality content independently, you may spend days or even weeks just getting a few articles completed.
On the other hand, hiring freelance writers can waste money as you pay for each test blog article to narrow down the talent pool.
Most blog writing services can help with this as they already vet the writing quality.
And the best blog writing services can eliminate these two problems easily because they have already done the work to hire writers, and you can get up and running with content coming in a few days or less.
Agencies and platforms also have numerous writers on the roster to handle bulk blog post content orders - instead of a single blog post here and there. So if you have the budget, getting a website up and running can go from taking months or even years to a few months or less.
Trying to write the content yourself likely means you will only be able to publish one article a day, and that's if you're proficient. This means it will take longer to see the effects of organic search traffic.
Most blog writing service s allow you to create a more reliable blog content pipeline to get keyword research and articles out faster. This approach leaves you free to focus on link-building and guest posting activities to get your content ranking higher.
As noted above, when hiring writers, you can't control for quality until you've tested them. This probably means a lot of wasted time and money until you narrow it down to the right person.
On top of this, it's entirely possible to get poor-quality articles back only to see the writer disappear without revisions.
The best blog writing services remove this uncertainty, giving you multiple or unlimited revisions and offering money-back guarantees if you're unhappy with the writing quality or service.
And you can always do your own quality assurance with plagiarism and AI detection tools like OriginalityAI (which can actually do both ;).
Some of the best blog writing services offer managed end-to-end solutions (check out our list of blog management services here ). Typically it includes handling the entire content production process from keyword research for search engine optimization to publishing on your website.
These end-to-end solutions will further save you time and allow you to focus on the areas that make you money, such as link building and negotiating better affiliate deals.
Managed Service Vs Individual Writer : Which Is Right For You?
While blog writing services can be an excellent solution for many niche and authority site owners, these may not be perfect for everyone.
The alternative of hiring individual freelance writers and building a team may be a better solution in certain situations.
- Less turnaround time for blog posts
- The service already has writers vetted to be able to produce high quality content
- Content is often cheaper
- May offer end-to-end solutions including keyword research
The downside to these services, though, is that what you see is what you get. If you serve an extremely technical or obscure niche, you may find it challenging to find the exact custom written content you want from the writers that work with a particular blog writing service .
Further, at the higher end of the expertise scale, the best blog writing services can be more expensive than hiring a writer .
Expert freelance writers generally command much more money, especially if they write in highly technical niches such as finance, healthcare, or technology.
The best blog writing services will need to pay that higher amount for the content while still ensuring they turn a profit. Sometimes it makes more sense to cut out the middleman.
- More control over the content creation
- You can get the exact writer you want
- Sometimes cheaper than working with a service
- Easier to find writers in your exact niche
Especially for highly technical niches about a very particular subject, hiring a team of writers makes sense over blogging services and can often get you better quality content . But, of course, the tradeoff here is that you will spend more time upfront hiring writers.
In the end, the best SEO blog writing services will often be a better choice for newer website owners on tighter budgets. Hiring a team of writers can take a lot of time and money that newer website owners may not have. In addition, you may not be able to justify investing that money in the early stages of your website.
As your website matures and you look to scale, hiring writers and building a team may make more sense. And you can find writers to help grow web traffic to your blog on social media platforms like Facebook groups.
How Much Do The Best Blog Writing Services Cost ?
The cost of hiring a blog writer is going to vary. However, a good rule of thumb is that the cheapest writers will work for $0.02 per word, with better writers starting at around $0.06 per word and above.
However, you can find writers for as high as a dollar per word and more in highly profitable and technical niches. Generally speaking, though, content writers will be cheaper than sales-focused copywriters.
I recommend that you plan for around $0.04 per word when first starting out.
Going cheaper than this increases the likelihood of poor quality content as many desperate writers and non-native English speakers will work at these lower rates.
You can find plenty of stories of blog owners paying bottom-level rates and ending up with good content . But, this is generally the exception rather than the norm. It's just as likely going cheap will get you a lot of low- quality content that you have to spend time editing heavily.
The good news is that you have plenty of options available. The above list represents all of the best blog writing services out there, but it's by no means exhaustive.
To make things easier, though, I highly recommend working with either Brand Builders , Content Pit , or Content Refined for managed blog writing services.
For hiring writers yourself, I encourage you to use ProBlogger or Upwork .
But Brand Builders, Content Pit, Content Refined, or even Word Agents make it easy to purchase content at a price agreeable with newer website owners and high-earning bloggers alike.
These content writing services benefit from working with a large pool of writers, making it more likely to have a writer that operates within your niche.
More importantly, these service providers have a strong reputation among top blog owners for consistently delivering quality articles. Most blog writing services mentioned on this list will be a good choice though.
Save yourself time and money by working with a reputable article writing services provider. You probably didn't get into blogging just to create a job for yourself as a full-time writer .
If you want to scale up your blog and start bringing in the kind of money you need to quit your daytime job , utilizing one of the best blog writing services is the first place to start.

15 Best Blog Writing Services to Consider
- In Blogging
- Last revised on September 8, 2023
This post contains affiliate links, which help support running this site. Please read my disclosure for details.
Some of you might have looked at this title and thought, “Why would a blogger even be considering blog writing services?” If you’re a business you’re probably already outsourcing some or all of your content writing, and if you treat your blog as a business, you might want to start considering the same.
If you’re like most bloggers, the main reason your blog exists is that you love to write. Either that, or your blog is a repository of content marketing greatness that makes people want to hire you or your company or buy your products and services right now. No matter how big your readership gets, this personal touch is an important aspect of drawing a crowd.
Unfortunately, for most of us there’s only a limited amount of time which can be spent on blogging each week. As the professional responsibilities and guest posting requests increase, you might find the pace of blogging unsustainable. Or, you might decide that it’s time to scale your blog into something bigger. Perhaps you find that in order to compete for higher search engine rankings, you need to accelerate your blogging cadence. In any of these cases, it might be advantageous to bring in outsiders to perform blog writing services.
It is possible to have external support and keep your personal touch on blogging. If you are used to doing research on the Internet for your blogging, hiring someone to help you do that work and create a blog draft for you can bring amazing improvements to your productivity and save you time to actually write better blog posts.
As we discuss these services, it’s important to note that there are several approaches you can take to hiring someone. Each of them also has a different way to pay for the blog writing services you’ve selected.
Approach #1: Find and Manage a Writer through an Open Freelancer Marketplace
If you wanted to start experimenting with outsourcing some of your content creation, this is where I would start, as you can retain as much control as possible. While you will have to do most of the hiring and management yourself, one of the advantages of this approach, of course, is the high level of control.
Typically, you’ll post a job and accept “applications” for it. Interview each writer that seems promising, then hire him or her to get the job done. On the other hand, you don’t have much formal pre-screening. Most of the time the marketplace will have some reviews for this person, which does help. But the approach is primarily self-service.

Fiverr was originally known for small gigs, initially priced at five dollars, hence the name. However, nowadays you can buy blog writing services at every price point. Besides writing services, you can get help with your WordPress site, and a lot of other services. From that standpoint, therefore, Fiverr is a versatile talent hiring platform.
To hire a freelancer this way, you’ll create an account and then post a gig. Freelancers will bid on it. Then, you’ll get to look at applicant’s portfolio and site reviews. If this person looks promising, you can hire them. Hiring is super easy, and involves “no surprises” pricing. Money is deposited into escrow, then the freelancer gets to work. Once you’re happy with the job, you release payment to the freelancer.

Upwork works similarly to Fiverr, in that the freelancer is hired and paid through the platform. Unlike Fiverr, you can pay by the piece or the hour. Again, you post a job and get bids on it. Depending on your choices, applications can be limited to your country of residence. You can also indicate if a freelancer must have a minimum level of customer satisfaction, called a Job Success Score (JSS).
Once again, you will review freelancer applications. There’s a significant amount of customer satisfaction information available on their profiles, and you can also ask for portfolio items. Upwork allows direct messaging with freelancers before retaining them to provide blog writing services. In addition, Upwork encourages long-term client-freelancer relationships. This is a plus, because less turnover means a smaller amount of drama.
PeoplerPerHour

PeoplePerHour uses the power of artificial intelligence to help you choose the right person for blog writing services. The way it works is that you post a job, and then the AI algorithms go to work. As potential freelancers are identified, the platform invites them to submit a bid. Then, you can review the ones who compete for your business, interview the ones you want to, and hire. On the flip side, you can also do a search through the platform and directly engage with writers that look interesting.
Payments are done through escrow, ensuring that neither side gets cheated. Finally, you can leave reviews for your freelancer. These are visible to potential clients too, which helps you choose wisely.

Guru is a newer platform, but it does much the same thing. You can join the platform, then post a job. Payments are handled through the platform, and you have several ways to manage these: either put money in escrow and release manually, or set up automatic payments. In addition, you can pay for your project one piece at a time. Finally, the platform handles much of the communication, and freelancer reviews are available.
Approach #2: Use a Freelance Writer Marketplace to Search for and Find a Vetted Writer
Unlike the unvetted options above, these marketplaces do more background work on your potential freelancers. Typically, they do quality evaluations. And in some situations, the platform will check the immigration status of a freelancer. The advantage of this approach is that you’re less likely to get poor-quality freelancers who barely speak English. On the other hand, with some platforms you may have less control over who performs your blog writing services. Either way, there’s less direct management of your freelancer and you are relying a bit more that the service has placed the right writer at an appropriate rank in their system, because you are often paying according to their rank.

Textbroker offers several ways to hire and pay for your blog writing services. One way is to pay a flat fee to the company. This rate is based on your desired writing quality and includes everything but a small processing fee. Another option is to hire individual freelancers, who are then paid according to a rate you negotiate with them. Unlike many other ways of finding a freelancer, this one only works with writers.
WriterAccess

Here, you have two basic options: hire and manage the freelancer direct through the platform or pay for managed blog writing services. Either way, the freelancers have been vetted and pre-approved to work there. For the managed services, the Writer Access staff selects the best freelancers and recommends them to you. On approval, they’ll manage the freelancer. All you have to do is pay the bill. WriterAccess has a few specialties beyond just writing. For instance, they have content strategists, photographers, and other creatives. However, all of the options focus on content marketing.

Scripted is another writing-only talent platform. With Scripted, you can get blog writing services, but they’ll also do much more. For instance, new customers can get an SEO audit of their site. This helps identify strengths and weaknesses. Then, you can hire freelancers to help improve your SEO. Ideally this should always be considered with blogs. However, Scripted also has people who can write website copy as necessary. This service vets writers, then shows you the ones which are potentially suitable for your project.
Keep in mind, this one is relatively different from other platforms in that it has a hefty monthly fee. While the fee includes some writing credits, it also has in-dept perks such as editorial review and plagiarism checks. If you go with many of the other options, you’ll end up doing these things yourself.

ConstantContent

Constant Content has a slightly different approach to blog writing services. Rather than offering exclusively custom content, they let writers post already written content. Then, you’d buy the rights from the author. This has the advantage of providing instant content if you need it for some reason. On the other hand, you won’t have the chance to express exactly what you want. Besides simple writing though, Constant Content has a partnership with Shutterstock. This allows you to purchase a license for one of their pictures, with the purchase of an article. Want custom-written content? You can pick your freelancer to work with.
Approach #3: Use an A La Carte Blog Writing Service
If you aren’t picky about who performs the blog writing services, you can try one of these a la carte writing services. With these, you typically place an order for the content you need, and it’ll appear when finished. Some services let you review items as they’re being written, such as by approving an outline. In addition, you’ll typically be allowed to request some changes as appropriate. Choose this approach if you’re busy and just want something written on time. However, you’ll be passing up the relationship with your writer and placing trust that these services have properly vetted the people that they allow on their platform.
SEMrush Content Marketplace

If you’re comfortable with just ordering up content and waiting for it to arrive, this is a good option. You can place the order, and the writer will send you a title and meta-description. From this, you can approve the topic. A week or so later, you’ll get the finished article. Need revisions? You’re allowed to do this three times. In addition, premium marketplace members can ask to work with the same author again. In this way, they incentivize repeat business. Finally, if you want your content SEO optimized this is possible, so long as the keywords are provided.

With iWriter, there are two basic ways to order content. The first one would remind you of ordering a pair of pants: list your specifications such as SEO keywords, select length, and decide on the writing quality. You then name your price, within certain minimums. From there, the order would be placed and a writer would pick it up from the queue. Your other option is to find a specific writer through searches or top rated lists. In that case, you hire the writer directly. If you’ve ordered something before, there’s also an option to rehire the person for more blog writing services. No matter which way you go though, iWriter handles all the payments. There’s also relatively limited communication with your writer.

The Hoth is a full-service content marketing and SEO firm. In addition, they have a pool of writers who can create blogs for you. In this case, you don’t get to pick who does the writing. Instead, you place an order and wait for the content. Then, you can approve it or request some revisions. Either way, the content isn’t done until you are happy. As an added bonus, if your site is on WordPress they’ll even do the posting for you. Photo and banners included.
Express Writers

If you want quality content delivered quickly, this is an excellent resource. What Express Writers does is take an order, then send it to their writing team. Writers are carefully vetted, and everything is edited by a qualified editor. This means that only quality content comes back. Best of all, turnaround times for most blog writing services are fairly quick. The only drawback is that, typical of a full-service content agency, it can get expensive on a per-word basis.

FatJoe is a comprehensive content marketing agency, primarily focused on blog writing services and branded content. With any content that you order, it has been expertly optimized for SEO. This is one reason why they are a major supplier for many marketing agencies. In addition, they have a presence across the English-speaking world. Finally, their services also include link building and blogger outreach, both of which help boost SEO on their own.
Approach #4: Use a Monthly Managed Blog Writing Service
At this service level, you’re pretty much ordering content and waiting for it to show up. You still can request edits or reject content, but most of the writer selection and management are done for you. The advantage is that you won’t spend much time on blog writing services. On the other hand, it’s relatively impersonal from the standpoint of the writer. And as a business or blogger you are placing 100% of your trust into the organization.

Verblio lets you order content, and then it is given to their writers to create. There’s a monthly subscription charge, but most of it goes towards the cost of content. This way, you don’t have to pay each writer individually. Instead, Verblio does this for you. On the plus side, you can “save” writers if they do a good job, then request them later.
Approach #5: Work with a Content Marketing Agency
If you are serious about your content and have an enterprise budget to invest in it, why not work with experts at a content marketing agency?

Brafton is one of the most reputable content marketing agencies for a reason: They simply won’t write blog content that doesn’t serve a purpose nor isn’t helpful to the reader. They are also unique in their data-driven approach to blog writing where they begin the process with data and then use analytics tracking, competitive analyses and industry conversations to figure out what is currently working and what has historically been successful. Then, they create blog writing campaigns around your core themes, marketing goals and target audience. They do their best to make sure that the right eyes see the right content at the right moment.

Blog Writing Services FAQs
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question as to the cost of having someone write a blog for you will depend on various factors, such as the length and complexity of the blog post, the writer’s experience and expertise, and the desired turnaround time. However, as a general guide, you can expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $500 for a professionally written blog post. Of course, if you are willing to do the writing yourself, then the only cost involved will be your time.
The cost of a blog post depends on a number of factors, including the length of the post, the level of detail required, and the writer’s level of expertise. In general, a 2000-word blog post will cost between $50 and $200. However, if the blog post requires extensive research or interviewing, the price may be higher. For most businesses, it is worth paying for a professional writer who can produce high-quality content that will engage readers and help promote your products or services.
Yes, you can hire someone to write your blog. There are a number of companies that offer blog writing services. While some may be hesitant to outsource such a personal project, working with a professional can actually help you save time and improve the quality of your content. A good blog writing service will take the time to understand your vision for the blog and tailor its content to meet your needs. In addition, they can help you come up with new ideas and keep your blog fresh.
Here are some ways to find blogs to write for: 1. Use a search engine such as Google or Bing. 2. Use social media platforms to know about trending topics such as Twitter and LinkedIn. 3. Reach out to your audience for ideas. 4. Collaborate with other experts in your niche.
The cost of a 500 word blog will vary depending on the writer’s experience, the topic, and the desired tone. For a professional writer with extensive experience in a particular subject, a 500 word blog could cost anywhere from $50 to $100. However, for a less experienced writer, the cost could be closer to $25. The price may also be affected by the level of research required or the amount of time needed to write the blog. In general, a shorter, simpler blog will cost less than one that is longer and more complex.

Wow, such a comprehensive list. I too have ordered content from some of these platforms. Some of the articles I got were good, quite a few were awful. I’d like to single out Express Writer as a good platform to hire from (though pricey). For those on a tight budget, sites like iWriter might suffice (but don’t expect much from them either).
Appreciate your input Jim!

We offer this website completely free to our visitors. To help pay the bills, we’ll often (but not always) set up affiliate relationships with the top providers after selecting our favorites. However, we do our best not to let this impact our choices. There are plenty of high-paying companies we’ve turned down because we didn’t like their product.
An added benefit of our relationships is that we always try to negotiate exclusive discounts for our visitors.

Best Blog Writing Services
Here are the best blog writing services in 2023.
Best for ongoing content writing

Panda Copy offers a flat rate every month accompanied by an unlimited amount of content and revisions. In this way, customers looking for a copywriting service (such as yourself) can get great service for lower writing and editing costs. One unique differentiator is that they offer two monthly plans. They also have a lot of experience with writing short copy.
An advantage to using Panda Copy is that it can help companies with plenty of marketing ideas but not enough manpower. Panda Copy allows you to write as many different blogs, articles, copies, social media content, and stories as you want. Furthermore, you won’t have to worry about extra charges regarding the number of revisions or word count since this is all included in their service.
Panda Copy was built by a team of dedicated specialists in the marketing industry who have been perfecting their craft for 15 years. And while the brand itself has just come to fruition this year, the company has provided a solution to the same problem over and over again: by creating great content through qualified copywriters. In consideration of the current pandemic, every writer they hire is currently working from their homes and are based in the USA.
- Flat-rate pricing for unlimited content requests
- Offers a dedicated writer, ensuring voice consistency
- Revisions are unlimited, promoting client satisfaction
- Responsive customer service for support and inquiries
- Monthly limits on word count could restrict content volume
- Not ideal for highly specialized content without additional guidance
- Turnaround times may not be as fast as services with larger teams

Best for single or bulk orders

SEOButler strives to provide content that falls outside of what most writing services specialize in, such as blog posts or product descriptions. Their catalog of services ranges from guest posts on other websites to citations and even social signals. All of these products are offered with search engine optimization in mind, meaning they’ll help your site get traffic through organic activations.
Users can order a regular blog article under their specifications. SEOButler also offers a guest post service where they conduct outreach with other sites that may want to feature a client, and produces quality guest articles on the user’s behalf. In addition to writing articles, SEOButler offers services aimed at directing traffic to user websites, such as social signals and citations.
SEOButler is therefore an excellent service for businesses and websites looking to increase their client base. Independent businesses and online marketing agencies will benefit the most from SEOButler’s diverse services.
For articles, SEOButler charges per word, about $0.05 to $0.13 depending on the category. Guest posts vary in price, and users pay a flat fee for each guest post requested. Social signals and citations are also charged similarly, as SEOButler charges $14 for every 200 signals and $1 for every citation.

Best AI content tool

For businesses who are serious about scaling up their content output, Content at Scale is our favorite AI writing option.
Content at Scale (CAS) leverages 3 different AIs and 2 natural language algorithms to give you some of the best AI writing we’ve seen. (And we’ve been testing numerous AI writing tools .) The output requires minimal editing to be publishable. Writing articles has never been easier. All CAS needs from you is a longtail keyword and a click of a button. It will produce an article (nearly 1,800 words for us) within about 5 minutes. If you do a bulk order by entering a spreadsheet of keywords, the time to create an article goes down.
This tool is still in beta testing, and it already has a lot of great features like SEO and SERP optimization, a Google Docs-style text editor, and a plagiarism checker. From the ground up, Content at Scale aims to create content that ranks. At the moment, CAS only caters to long-form content, but with regular updates to their software, they seem to be working hard to be the best at creating articles.
Overall, Content at Scale is built for businesses who want to do exactly that: scale up their long-form content.
- AI-driven process for large-scale content creation
- SEO-optimized content to improve organic reach
- End-to-end solution from content planning to publishing
- Saves time on content research with automated insights
- Higher price point due to sophisticated technology

Best “hands-off” blogging service

Content creation for your successful website is never just about writing. Things like SEO, keyword research, and even formatting and posting in WordPress are all aspects of content creation that require a whole other skill set, which can take time to master.
For folks who don’t want to do the background work of doing keyword research and creating SEO strategies, Content Refined is your best hands-off option.
When given assignments, Content Refined does all of the work for you, including keyword research, SEO strategizing, and even posting content to your site. Writers also utilize the practice of interlinking, building topical authority.
They will even do their research on your brand and replicate the voice present in other blog posts you have on your site. The team of writers at the company are all native English speakers from the US and Canada, which is a huge timesaver when it comes to editing.

Best for unlimited, flat-rate services

Following the “unlimited business services” model pioneered by companies such as Design Pickle, Content Cucumber allows clients to request an unlimited number of blog posts, emails, newsletters, and other written media for a flat monthly fee. By charging a fixed price for an unlimited number of written materials, clients can avoid hiring freelance blog writers to produce their content.
Clients are paired up with one of Content Cucumber’s writers who produce content, discuss any revisions, and suggest possible topics. All clients have to do is submit a request describing the topic and the desired word length, at which point your writer receives the request and begins working. The turnaround time for articles is 1 day for every 400 words, meaning shorter articles take about one business day, while longer ones take closer to a week
Although Content Cucumber specializes in writing blog posts, newsletters, and other longform web copies or emails, they can also produce product descriptions for Amazon listings. If clients have questions about a project that doesn’t lie within those boundaries, they can consult with their writer on the best approach. Agencies can request projects on behalf of their clients, and users can utilize Content Cucumber for as many brands as they would like.
For all of these services, clients pay $599 a month with a 14-day money-back guarantee. By using Content Cucumber instead of hiring freelance writers, businesses can save thousands of dollars a month for an unlimited number of content requests and revisions. To get the full value of Content Cucumber’s services, however, users will have to request a relatively heavy workload. Although requesting articles with higher word counts is considered a bargain, they do have longer turnaround times. It’s also worth noting that while each of their writers is SEO trained, clients have to make SEO recommendations themselves.
- Provides a consistent team for writing and editing tasks
- A flat monthly rate allows for predictable budgeting
- Unlimited content requests within the subscription's scope
- Good for ongoing content needs with a regular publishing schedule
- Fair use policy may affect those with high-volume needs
- The monthly subscription model is not ideal for project-based needs
- May not specialize in technical or highly niche content areas

There are many things to consider when you are evaluating a blogging service. Our suggestion is to work through the list below to help your decision-making process.
Your specific projects
- How often do you need blog posts written? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?
- How long are your blog posts? Short and concise (500 words)? Or researched and extensive 2000-4000 words. Try to estimate the amount of content you need.
- Find business writers
- Find medical writers
- Find staff writers
- Find ghost writers
- Are you writing blog posts, product descriptions, email nurture series, lead magnets, or something else entirely?
- Do you need new content or a copywriter to improve existing content to make it convert?
- Can you edit content yourself, do you need to hire an editor, or are you looking for someone to produce content that doesn’t need to be edited?
- Do you need SEO expertise or can you provide keywords, post structure, and guidelines?
- Do you want the writers to provide blog images ?
- What do you typically spend on blog content every month? Do you have a monthly budget for content?
- What is the cost of time of managing your current/past writers?
- Do you have the budget to bring on a full-time employee or would a fixed cost be more beneficial? You should also consider the cost of time of bringing on a contractor or employee.
Average blog writers typically charge 5-20 cents per word . So a 1,000-word blog post could cost between $50-200. Prices typically go up based on writing quality and the amount of research and expertise required.
While many writing services charge by the word, some new companies like Panda Copy offer a fixed monthly fee for unlimited content. However, there’s always a limit for this type of service, which typically results in about 400 words per day.
The core mission behind Don't Do It Yourself is to find great options to delegate and outsource work to save time and money.
I was lucky to understand the benefits of blog writing to increase impressions and generate web traffic via search early on in my professional career. After quickly realizing that there was no way that I could realistically do all of this on my own, especially as I added more websites to my portfolio, I turned to hiring freelance writers.
While working with freelancers was rewarding (I made some great friends along the way), it wasn't super profitable. Like at all.
Paying writers hourly
The biggest mistake blog writing mistake I made was paying freelancers hourly . On average, I paid good freelance writers around $40 per hour. I paid more than the going market rate because I found that lower rates typically translated into lower-quality content. It was six of one, half a dozen of another. For a well-researched blog article, I found that most talented writers took approximately 5 hours. So, my cost of an article would be around $200. Just for the article.
What I then found was that a lot of the articles weren't plug-and-play, even the good ones. I had to edit them. I had to coach the writers on best practices for SEO. I even found myself sometimes rewriting the article myself. I pretty much lived in Google Docs.
All of this time ultimately added up and killed my ROI. It also made it especially challenging to sell content development and SEO services from an agency perspective. After it was all said and done, I was finding my fully loaded article cost creeping up to $500-$700. As a general rule of thumb, an agency needs to bill around 3x the cost of goods to make a good profit. Selling a single blog post for $1,500-$2,000 isn't a walk in the park, I'll tell you that. You either need to get really lucky or have a client with deep pockets and immense trust in your strategy.
Negotiating a fixed rate for a consistent deliverable is key. You'll notice that all of our recommended blog writing services provide predictable pricing models. This allows you to better forecast what your true investment will be on a per article basis. Depending on how you plan to monetize the inbound traffic coming from the blog post, you should be able to calculate what your expected return is. This will make scaling out your blog way more feasible.

Their service offering is the most straightforward – you pay a fixed monthly fee and get access to unlimited blog articles from professional kick-butt writers.
Panda Copy offers some of the best and most experienced writers in the industry.

The best way to determine if Panda Copy makes sense for you and your business is to give it a try. They have a 30 Day Satisfaction Promise, which provides enough time to dig into their services.
What is unlimited blogging?
Unlimited blogging is a service provided by some content creation companies where you pay a flat monthly fee in exchange for a certain amount of blog content, which can include articles, posts, and sometimes other forms of written content.
This service typically allows for a set daily word limit (like 400 words) and offers unlimited revisions, so you can fine-tune your content until it meets your satisfaction.
It's designed for businesses that require a steady stream of blog content without the hassle of per-article charges or the need to hire a full-time writer.
This model is particularly beneficial for maintaining a consistent blog presence, improving SEO, and engaging with your audience regularly.
What should I look for when hiring a writer?
You should determine whether you need a generalist or a subject matter expert, a blogger's writing style, what type of content you need, and of course cost.
What does a blog post cost?
The cost of a blog post can vary widely depending on the writer's experience, the complexity of the topic, and the research required.
Generally, for a well-crafted, 1,000-word blog post, you can expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $200.
Pricing structures differ among writers and services: some charge per word, which can range from $0.05 to $0.20 or more, while others set a rate per post or offer monthly packages with a set number of posts included.
The variation in pricing reflects not just the length of the content but also factors like SEO optimization, the inclusion of images or multimedia, and the level of expertise in the subject matter.
It's important for clients to consider the value of high-quality content against the cost, as engaging and authoritative blog posts can significantly drive traffic and lead generation.
Do any blog writing services offer a free trial?
Yes, some blog writing services provide a free trial period or a complimentary sample post to potential clients.
These trials typically last around 14 days or may include one free sample blog post, allowing you to evaluate the quality of the service and the writing before committing to a purchase.
This risk-free option is beneficial for gauging how well a service understands your content needs, tone, and style preferences.
However, the specifics of what's included in a free trial, such as the word count, the number of revisions, and the scope of topics available, can vary from one service to another.
It's advisable to review the terms of the free trial upfront to make sure it aligns with your content goals and to ensure there are no hidden costs should you decide to continue with the service.
Do blog writing services require contracts?
Most top blog writing services operate without binding their clients to long-term contracts.
They typically offer flexible arrangements where you can pay on a monthly basis or per piece of content and have the freedom to cancel the service at any time.
This flexibility is designed to accommodate the varying needs and levels of commitment of different clients, from small businesses to large enterprises.
It allows customers to scale their content up or down as needed without the worry of being locked into a contract.
However, it's always important to read the terms of service before starting with any provider, as policies can change, and there may be terms regarding notice periods for cancellation or changes in service levels.
What can blog writing services write about?
Many services specialize in blog posts, newsletters, and long-form web copies or emails. They can also provide product descriptions for e-commerce stores and online shopping sites. Many of these sites employ writers equipped to handle most writing challenges. If you are unsure about how to approach a project, writers are often eager to lend a helping hand.
Can I dictate the writing output?
Yes, to varying degrees. For unlimited writing services, the turnaround time for articles depends on the word count for the requested documents.
For example, 400-word articles will be produced in one day, meanwhile, 1600-word articles will take 4 days. Some services allow their writers to create a posting schedule on your behalf, meaning you can collaborate with companies to find the best timeframe for controlling your output.
Do blog writers offer revisions?
Yes, most blog writing services offer revisions. For unlimited writing services, revisions are done at no additional cost to the client.
Companies will also use revision processes to judge whether a specific writer is fit for a certain client, as too many revisions will result in a writer change.
Do blog writing services offer SEO?
Yes, although the type of SEO may depend on the service. Some claim that their writers are SEO trained, but require the client to supply SEO keywords.
Other more personalized services try to identify potential questions that a business’s clients may have, and construct SEO strategies around that.
Do I own the copyright on the content I request?
Yes, blog writing services allow clients to retain the copyright on any content they request. Furthermore, clients do not own copyright on products that they disapprove of or send back for revisions. Businesses can then publish, sell, and distribute their purchased content in any way they see fit.
Can I use photos for my blog posts?
Some blog writing services provide photos that clients can use to bolster their content. These photos tend to be royalty-free images or free to use with attribution. More complex services allow clients to access Shutterstock and Getty images for a higher monthly fee.
If I handle multiple brands, can I still use these services?
Yes, as long as you have content that needs to be produced, they can be written. Unlimited writing companies allow clients to use their accounts for as many brands as they want. Agencies can also use these services to request projects on behalf of their clients.

5 Best Content Writing Services for Bloggers (in 2023)

Written by Ankit Singla

Last Updated on:
In this post, I’ll show you some of the best content writing services for bloggers.
They are well-staffed content agencies that can provide you with the high-quality content you need…
…and that too at a reasonable price.
Let’s check them out.
Best Content Writing Services
- Writer Access
- Content Refined
- Content Development Pros
- Content Alpha
- ContentWriters.com
Disclaimer: The content writing agencies on this list aren’t arranged by ratings. Refer to the “overall ratings” section to learn how strongly I recommend each agency to bloggers.
1. WriterAccess

WriterAccess is a premium content writing agency for bloggers and website owners with a budget.
First and foremost, it’s actually a subscription-based service that grants you the privilege to connect with their pool of talent. Customers are also given access to tools like BuzzSumo, persona builder, SERP tracking, and advanced performance reports.
WriterAccess content quality
When it comes to content, WriterAccess’s creators specialize in a diverse list of niches, fields of expertise, and project types. They include anyone from white paper writers to app reviewers.

Sure, WriterAccess’s model leads to pricier projects.
On the flip side, it allows you to handpick the writers you’d like to work with.
Their writers are well-versed in various content types across pretty much every field – from app development to women’s health.
You can check their writers’ prized works via the “Portfolio Gallery.”

I spent around 30 minutes browsing this page and I have to say:
This is the kind of stuff that gets published on sites like Forbes, The Huffington Post, and Search Engine Journal.
If something catches your eye, there’s also a conveniently placed ‘Hire Me’ button to get in touch with the writer.
This leads us to the next point.
WriterAccess user experience
The design team behind WriterAccess knows how to emphasize their top content writers.
More importantly, they know how to help you – the customer – find and hire them.
As I mentioned above, writer profiles have a ‘Hire Me’ button. This is incredibly helpful if you’re looking around their Portfolio Gallery.

Writer profiles also have niche tags that make it easier to search for professionals that match your blog’s needs. To learn more about them, you can read about their specialties, education, content type experience, and industry experience.

Not in the mood to search for writers?
If you can afford it, you can go for their subscription-based “Managed Service” package.
WriterAccess’s managed service packages come with the following inclusions:
- Talent management service
- Expert workflow supervision
- Platform integrations
- Topic research service
- Workspace integration service

WriterAccess also features an AI-powered “Writer Search” tool.
It utilizes machine learning to help you find writers who can meet your demands in terms of expertise and style.
All you have to do is choose the type of content you have in mind and your niche. You also have the option to upload a bit of sample text.

WriterAccess pricing
WriterAccess offers three different platform tiers: “Basic,” “Pro,” and “Premium.”
Higher tiers open up new marketplaces, namely the “Designer Marketplace” and the “Specialty Marketplace.” These allow you to hire non-writer professionals who can help with your content marketing campaign.
Just bear in mind that a WriterAccess tier subscription doesn’t include the actual content writing service.
With an active subscription, you can use their platform to hire their proven writers on-demand.
The platform’s writers charge from $0.04 to a little over $1 per word – depending on your content requirements.
Alternatively, you can pay for a Managed Service package, which has three different pricing options:

WriterAccess is a great platform that can help bloggers generate the quality content their readers deserve.
It’s a bit on the pricey side as far as content writing agencies go. But, as you should know by now, you get what you pay for in the blogging sphere.

2. Content Refined

If you’re looking for a one-stop content marketing solution, take a look at Content Refined .
It is built as an end-to-end content marketing service that can provide bloggers with a complete success roadmap. This starts from SEO-driven keyword research all the way to publishing.
As proof that they care about your success, each client is assigned a project manager. They will be in charge of planning, writing, editing, optimizing, and publishing every piece of content they deliver.
Content Refined content quality
You can order content from Content Refined through their content creation packages.
To ensure content quality, they follow a strict quality control process. This starts by hiring only native English writers to work on orders.

Content Refined also has an in-house team of editors and project managers who make sure every piece is top-notch. Naturally, these editors are native English speakers as well.
If you’d like to evaluate their team’s content writing prowess firsthand, I recommend reading their blog.
Start by looking at their resource links to get a better understanding of how they define the word “content quality.”

Remember, excellent blog posts don’t only need perfect grammar and spelling. They must also have relevance, actionable information, and great flow.
Content Refined checks all these boxes by creating well-structured content that people will want to read from start to finish.
Rather than piling thick walls of text one after another, they optimize for readability with images, subheadings, and concise paragraphs.
I’d go as far as to say that Content Refined achieves the quality of content I want for my blog.
Content Refined user experience
Content Refined is one of the few agencies that believe in the value of personalized service.
Their website features an online booking interface that lets you schedule an appointment with their sales team.
I must say, it’s one of the easiest booking systems I’ve ever experienced. Simply pick an available date, provide your information, and click ‘Confirm Booking.’

Booking an appointment allows the Content Refined team to tailor a content writing service just for you.
It also lets you make sure you’re getting your money’s worth. After all, their meticulous content writing services don’t come cheap.
However, if you feel like booking an appointment isn’t necessary, you can simply order a ready-made content creation package.
This may include any of the following:
- A designated project manager
- Optional keyword research and title idea generation
- Content revamping
- Video content repurposing
Apart from creating and editing your post, they can also handle the time-consuming work of publishing posts on your blog.
If you’ve been blogging for a while, you should know that
Content Refined pricing
Truth be told, some of Content Refined’s content creation packages are straight-up too expensive for small bloggers.
Thankfully, they offer single-month content packages that don’t require a long-term commitment.
Here’s how much their monthly content creation packages will set you back:
Already have a list of keywords and content title ideas?
You can get huge savings using Content Refined’s discounted content creation services:
- 4-Post Package – $329 per month
- 8-Post Package – $609 per month
- 12-Post Package – $877.50 per month
Here are the costs of Content Refined’s other content services:
Content Upgrades
With a Content Upgrades package, Content Refined will revamp existing posts in your blog.
The service includes an in-depth content audit, SEO, and blog republishing.
- 5 Content Upgrades — $800
- 10 Content Upgrades — $1,440
- 20 Content Upgrades — $2,560
Keyword Research
Content Refined can provide you with detailed content plans through robust keyword research. Their team uses top-of-the-line research tools like SEMrush and SECockpit.
Check out the pricing of their keyword research service:
- 10 Content Plans – $169
- 20 Content Plans – $305
- 30 Content Plans – $442
“Blogify” Videos
If you have video content on platforms like YouTube, Content Refined can help you turn them into full-length, rank-worthy articles.
Of course, they’ll do this for a price:
- 1 Video Package – $82.50
- 4 Video Package – $325
- 8 Video Package – $646
Content Refined overall ratings

The main reason why I recommend Content Refined is the transparency of their content creation services.
Every single step taken to provide you with high-quality content is disclosed on their website. This is the type of confidence I want to see in a content writing agency.
I only hope they have a single-post content creation package to encourage more bloggers to give them a whirl.

3. Content Development Pros

Content Development Pros is a popular, highly-rated content writing agency with a ton of flexibility.
They can help keep bloggers supplied with well-written content in various shapes and sizes. You can order single blog posts, full-length eBooks, guest posts, product descriptions, and so on.
In addition to the articles themselves, Content Development Pros also offer extra services, like:
- Social media posts
- Keyword research
- Royalty-free images
- Design (brochures, ads, business cards, eBook covers, etc.)
- Link building
- Weekly and monthly reports
- Blog editorial calendar management
- 24/7 customer support

Add-on services, of course, will add to your total bill. The good news is, every dollar you spend will be worth it.
Content Development Pros content quality
The Content Development Pros team consists of talented and well-managed writers experienced in writing under every niche.
Trust me – they know the content marketing game. As such, their output is consistently optimized to help you achieve your marketing goals.

Content Development Pros can provide bloggers with professionally written content in various formats. This includes popular content types like listicles, pillar content, news jacked content, and long-form posts.
Of course, you can always check their blog to see the kind of content you should expect from your team. They cover all sorts of topics relevant to digital marketing, like user experience design, eCommerce, and traffic generation.

As expected, Content Development Pros create authoritative posts filled with insightful and actionable information.
They use clear, readable sentences and paragraphs. There are also enough subheadings and images to provide a comfortable and enriching experience to readers.
I just wished they relied less on royalty-free images that look generic.
There also doesn’t seem to be a consistent theme across these images. The only thing they have in common is the Content Development Pros logo plastered at the bottom-right corner.
Content Development Pros user experience
Content Development Pros has a client portal where you can easily manage and track your ongoing projects.
That is an instant plus, especially if you need a content agency you can stick to in the long haul.
When buying content, orders can be processed from their handy “Select a Service” window.

Unfortunately, we can’t do a deep dive into the individual checkout processes for each service. That said, let’s take a look at the service you’ll probably use most often: the standard content package.
When ordering one custom article, all you need to do is enter your information and order details. You can upload your project’s title, description, and files that can help the writer.

Ordering a single custom article is great if you want to see what Content Development Pros can do. Alternatively, you can get in touch with their team via phone, contact form, and live chat.
I recommend reaching out directly since their website, in all honestly, doesn’t have the most user-friendly interface.
Still, the ordering process is as straightforward as it needs – and that’s what really counts.
Content Development Pros pricing
Content Development Pros have flexible pricing options that depend on certain factors.
For custom articles, the cost is determined by the project’s word count and the writer’s star ratings.
To keep thing simple, here are the price of 1,000-word custom articles:
- 3-Star Writer – $35
- 4-Star Writer – $65
- 5-Star Writer – $85
Each custom article is guaranteed original, delivered within two business days. They’re also crafted with images and SEO-friendliness in mind.
Content Development Pros also accepts bulk orders for 10 custom articles per transaction. However, the price per article remains exactly the same.
Another option you can consider is one of their monthly blog management packages. These come with add-on services like editorial calendar management, blog publishing, and basic link building.
Content Development Pros overall ratings

First things first, the Content Development Pros website has a lot of room for improvement design-wise. But the checkout experience remains seamless all the same.
What really matters is their reliability and quality of output. That, coupled with their fast article turnaround times, and you’ve got yourself a good content agency for urgent projects.
Just a word of advice: try to create and use your own visual content when working with Content Development Pros. This goes for every content writing agency that relies on stock photo websites for visuals.

4. ContentAlpha

Sometimes, you need to dig deep in order to find content writing agencies you can entrust your brand with.
It took me a while to look for worthy content agencies to include on this list. And when I stumbled upon ContentAlpha , I was instantly impressed.
ContentAlpha may not be the most popular content writing agency out there. But they definitely have a lot of promise.
The content types they can work on include:
- Press releases
- Product descriptions
- Product reviews
ContentAlpha content quality
At the heart of ContentAlpha’s operations lies a team of dedicated writers who specialize in specific fields. They live by a diligent content development process with the following core components:
- Out-of-the-box SEO – You don’t have to worry about the SEO of your order. Each piece already ships with the essential SEO practices, like proper keyword placement and readability optimization.
- Expert quality assurance – On top of their thorough proofreading and editing processes, ContentAlpha also runs each article through an exhaustive plagiarism check. All these are crucial to ensuring the quality of your order.
- Generous revision terms – Different content writing agencies have different revision policies that help protect clients and writers from unmet expectations. ContentAlpha, however, gives full priority to clients by accepting unlimited revision requests.

Still have doubts?
That’s perfectly understandable.
If you need a little more convincing, you can refer to ContentAlpha’s selection of sample articles. These range from general listicles to full-length eBook drafts that showcase their team’s capabilities.

After reading their samples, what really caught my attention is the versatility of their content writing team.
They can certainly produce high-quality content in all flavors. It doesn’t matter if you want a conversational or formal tone – ContentAlpha’s writers can pull it off convincingly.
ContentAlpha also pays close attention to SEO by ensuring a healthy dose of keywords in each piece. These are then carefully weaved into the write-up, making them look and feel natural.
The only thing I’d change is their tendency to write long paragraphs. Luckily, this can be easily fixed for free – thanks to their unlimited revisions policy.
ContentAlpha user experience
You know me – I really appreciate a well-designed, user-friendly website.
That’s another reason why I included ContentAlpha on this list.
If you already know what you want, the ordering process will take only less than a minute. You can easily select the content type, needed service, and the rest of the project details – all in one page.

To make sure there are no surprises, ContentAlpha will show you a preview of your order’s cost from the get-go.
This takes us to ContentAlpha’s pricing.
ContentAlpha pricing
ContentAlpha also has a flexible pricing structure that only requires you to pay for what you need.
For the sake of this post, let’s look at ContentAlpha’s pricing for a 1,000-word article:
- Expert Content Writing Service – $39.23
- Pro Content Writing Service – $52.30

5. ContentWriters

Looking for a top-tier agency that big-name brands use for content marketing?
ContentWriters is a premium content writing agency for businesses, publishers, bloggers, and other agencies of all sizes. You can order blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, white papers, articles – you name it.
Despite having tons of orders from their massive client pool, they always deliver articles that are fine-tuned to everyone’s goals.
This is thanks to their brilliant content ordering process, which we’ll cover shortly.
ContentWriters content quality
ContentWriters is one of the higher-priced content writing agencies on this list.
Fortunately, the costs of their content writing services are well justified.
Only proven and experienced content writers are accepted into their team. They even had to temporarily suspend the writer registration process because they go through each application with a fine-tooth comb.

Before shipping out content, their team will proofread, edit, and check drafts for plagiarism. They also make sure to tailor each piece to the client’s target audience, brand voice, and content style.

To see what the ContentWriters team is made of, I suggest looking at their “Content Writing Resources” section.
You can check out blog posts, white papers, case studies, and success stories about their clients.

The ContentWriters team has exceptional control of the English language . They expertly use similes, storytelling elements, and precise language to paint a clear picture of what they want to convey.
To keep the content engaging, every piece is written with only short yet impactful sentences.
ContentWriters also takes full advantage of various formatting techniques to maximize the readability of each piece. In some cases, they also include custom graphics to drive home a point.
Long story short, their team of writers is always ready to go the extra mile to keep clients happy.
ContentWriters user experience
To help clients make and track articles, ContentWriters features a full-fledged, all-in-one visual dashboard.
First things first, you need to complete your company profile to help writers get to know your content preferences.
This process should only take a few minutes. Simply specify your website’s URL, company type, company description, and industries.

With your profile complete, just go to the ‘Jobs’ tab and click ‘Order New Content.’

Now, you may notice that ContentWriters’s order form has loads of input fields, such as:
- Content Goals & Things to Mention
- Style & Tone
- Sample Content URL
- Referencing & Linking Preferences
- Things to Avoid
- Additional Notes
You’re not really required to add all these details. But if you have very particular content requirements, feel free to supply the necessary information.
At the bottom of the order page, you’ll be able to upload attachments. You can add PDFs, images, documents, and other useful resources that can help writers do their job.
You’ll also see the total cost of your project, which is calculated based on the article’s length and order quantity. The total price will also increase by $15 per article if you want a faster turnaround.

That should be it for ContentWriters’s ordering system.
Other than that, the dashboard also allows you to create and manage projects. You can also view an interactive calendar, which will give you an overview of all pending orders.
All in all, ContentWriters’s dashboard has everything you need to make outsourcing content a walk in the park.
ContentWriters pricing
ContentWriters can provide you with top-of-the-line content along with a premium user experience.
That said, you should be prepared to spend premium bucks to use their service.
For a single article with 1,000 to 1,500 words, the base price you’ll have to pay is $250 . This can increase to $265 if you want the “Expedited Delivery” option.
ContentWriters also offer a managed service that requires a custom monthly cost based on your blog’s needs.
Going this route will grant you the following benefit:
- Dedicated Account Manager – Getting ContentWriters’s premium managed service will get you a dedicated account manager. Their tasks involve quality assurance, priority client support, and order management.
- Monthly Topic Pitching – With the help of your ContentWriters account manager, you can put your content marketing strategy on full autopilot. Each month, you will be supplied with a list of SEO-friendly, relevant topic ideas for your blog.
- Writer Team Retention – To keep your content’s style and brand messaging consistent, ContentWriters will assign a long-term team of writers just for you. This massively improves efficiency since writers no longer have to learn your brand’s voice, style, and formatting preferences.
- Unlimited Revisions – With a free, self-service ContentWriters account, revisions are limited to only two rounds per project. But with their managed service, you can request for revisions until you’re 100% happy with your order.
- Content Calendar – A managed ContentWriters service allows you to have a bird’s-eye view of your monthly content development efforts. This will make it easier to see if your content marketing goals are being met and check for productivity bottlenecks.
ContentWriters overall ratings

I can confidently say that even the most finicky of bloggers and website owners will be satisfied with ContentWriters.
It may not be the most ideal option for cost-conscious bloggers. But it’s one of the content agencies you can’t go wrong with – no matter what your content requirements may be.
My Recommendations
That’s it – the best writing agencies for bloggers who care about content quality.
As much as possible, I urge you to give each agency a shot until you find the perfect fit.
Just so you’re not reaching in the dark, here are my top recommendations for different kinds of bloggers:
1. You don’t need bulk orders

Best Pick: A Freelancer
If you think your content marketing needs can be handled by a single person, hire a freelance writer. Their rates are flexible, you can communicate with them directly, and they’ll be easier to work with over time.
The downside is, it’s not always easy to find someone competent enough to be your go-to freelance writer.
You also have to be more involved in their workflow – from keyword research to editing. These are things you can completely go hands-off with if you hire an agency.
2. You regularly need high-quality blog content, but have a limited budget

Best Pick: Content Development Pros
For budget-conscious bloggers, Content Development Pros could be the solution to your content writing problems.
Their content writing service is the least expensive out of all the agencies we’ve covered. Still, the content quality you should expect is pretty good.
3. You urgently need a top-quality article fast

Best Pick: ContentWriters
ContentWriters may be a tad expensive, but they’re among the best in the business in terms of reliability.
You can request to expedite the delivery of your article for an additional fee. It’s not as fast as other agencies that promise two-day turnarounds, but you can be confident about content quality.
4. You run multiple blogs and need a diverse team of writers

Best Pick: WriterAccess
A lot of bloggers run multiple websites under various niches.
If you belong to this group, WriterAccess can connect you with skilled individuals who can help.
I’m not just talking about blog ghostwriters and copywriters. With the right plan, you can also recruit designers, photographers, video editors, content strategists, and editors.
5. Your goal is to rank in search engines

Best Pick: ContentAlpha
I know – it’ll take more than SEO add-ons provided by content writing agencies to attain high search engine rankings. However, ContentAlpha’s SEO Bundle packages can definitely have a huge impact.
It’s clearly not for everyone – thanks to the high price tag. If you can afford it, you’ll get hundreds of pages of content that can bolster your blog’s rank-worthiness.
6. You need SEO, but have a tight budget

Content Development Pros also have an add-on SEO service.
It’s a lot cheaper than ContentAlpha’s SEO Bundle packages. As such, your campaign won’t have as much volume in terms of backlinks, content, and optimizations.
Do You Need To Hire Content Writing Services?
Now as you have the list of best content writing agencies to outsource your content, I want to answer an important question.
Do you actually need these agencies for your content need?
But before I answer it, allow me to be very clear:
I personally write 100% of the content in this blog.
Instead of hiring content writers, I hire editors and professionals who can help me with other areas of my blog. I’m talking about graphics, marketing, product development, page design, and so forth.
That’s how I can bring you – the reader – priceless resources like The Content Rulebook .

With that out of the way, let’s go back to the topic at hand.
As far as outsourcing content writers go, I understand its value to countless bloggers and businesses out there. It doesn’t matter if you’re hiring an individual freelancer or a full-on content writing agency.
Both freelance writers and content agencies have their place in a blogger’s list of resources.
Here – let me show you the pros and cons of hiring freelance writers and ordering content from an agency:

Why hire a freelance writer
Why hire a content writing agency.
If you think hiring a freelance writer is the better option for you, be sure to check out this post . There, you’ll learn the ins and outs of hiring freelance writers and where to find them.
Difference Between Content Agencies and Content Mills
Whatever you do, you stay away from content mills.
These are websites that offer content writing “services” at an incredibly cheap price. In turn, you’re also likely to get pieces that are incredibly subpar.
To put things in perspective, here’s a review of a content mill that shall remain nameless:

How to tell the difference between a content mill and a content writing agency?
One way to look at the price of their content packages.
As a rule of thumb, avoid companies that offer “high-quality” content for absurdly low amounts.
I like to say, “ if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. ”
Agencies also often offer additional services that can help website owners with other areas of content marketing. This may include content promotions, workflow optimization, social media publishing, and more.
Another way is to refer to a website like Sitejabber and read company reviews.

Always remember that there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution in blogging .
This is the same when you’re looking for a content writing agency.
Each agency has its own pros and cons. And, as bloggers, it’s up to us to decide which service best completes the content marketing puzzle.
Hopefully, the post above taught you enough to make the right choice. If you have additional questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to leave a comment below.
In the meantime, I suggest reading more about outsourcing blog writers .
