How Does Faith Impact Your Life? 10 Examples of How Faith Changes Everything

How does faith impact your life? It changes everything. I have learned from experience, that is not a cliche of false hope; it is the raw truth.

Every aspect of your life will be impacted when you incorporate faith into your everyday, ordinary life. Your thoughts, your decisions, and your relationships will all change.

As Hurricane Ida swirled around us, I took out my phone and recorded the storm’s feisty wind and rain. I felt vulnerable and out of my element. The view was hazy, so I opened the door for a clear shot. I suddenly felt a sense of peace. It is hard to describe how you know when God’s presence suddenly rests over you. But I knew one way or another we would be ok because God was with us.

Although our everyday life does not usually include facing hurricanes, we do walk through threatening storms. On many days, we face interruptions and challenges that cloud our perspective leaving us feeling vulnerable and exposed.

Faith impacts our life because it helps us view storms through a different lens; we put our trust in Jesus instead of ourselves.

Christ’s love for us and His promise to be with us gives us the confidence to embrace whatever comes our way.

How does faith impact your life? Faith is the launching pad from which you base your entire life including decisions, crises, and challenges.

Faith keeps you centered with the realization that you are not alone and can trust God to help you live a confident, joy-filled life.

Why is Faith Important in Everyday Life?

Why is faith important in everyday life? It provides a steady compass . A relationship with Jesus changes how you see things and how you walk in and out of situations.

When the disciples encountered Jesus, they were living ordinary lives. Most abandoned their jobs and began to follow Jesus not knowing how their new faith would impact their life. But one encounter with Jesus changed everything for them.

The transforming power of a life following Christ is available to you too. When you choose to follow Jesus, you are forever changed. It doesn’t mean you won’t face trials, most of the disciples were killed for their faith.

But faith in Christ gives you a new identity and new hope . Faith is a supernatural connection to Jesus that brings, comfort, wisdom, understanding, and peace. Confidence and freedom are two big ways how faith impacts your life.

When you allow faith to impact your life it touches your spirit, your emotions , your relationships, your purpose , and your ability to identify and use your spiritual gifts.

How does faith impact your life? A life following Jesus is transformative, exciting, and resilient.

How to Have Faith in God

So how do we have faith in God? How do we lean on Jesus so we experience how faith impacts our life?

Faith in God starts with the realization that we need Jesus. When we surrender and humble ourselves before God and ask Jesus to take over our lives a wonderful thing happens—we are set free!

From this new place of freedom, y our identity becomes firmly rooted in being a child of God and realizing you are incredibly cherished and loved by the creator of the world.

Your faith defines you and causes an eruption within your soul. When you connect with the Holy Spirit it ignites a new light inside of you to help walk out your faith in God every day.

When you have faith in God it changes the quality of your life.

How does faith impact your life? It changes your view of yourself which affects your view of everything else.

Examples of Faith in Everyday Life

I grew up believing my faith was a ritual. It was a good ritual but not something I carried throughout every aspect of my life.

But now I realize a full life in Christ is possible when I fully incorporate Him into my everyday, ordinary life.

As you go about your day, you make a lot of decisions and get to utilize your faith. But you must be intentional and give up control and fear to let your faith impact your everyday life.

Trusting God with your decisions can be scary, but leads to better choices and a stronger connection with Jesus.

With each decision, we weigh the risk and the reward of our choice. Many decisions are repeated and subconscious, but some decisions require analysis and a tap into faith.

When our decisions involve a conversation with God and a nudge by the Holy Spirit, we are allowing faith to impact our choices and our lives.

10 Examples of How Faith Impacts Your Life

#1 how does faith impact your life faith turns worry into prayer.

Worry and anxiety are unwelcome parts of life that can consume and rob us of joy. Worry is fed by negative self-talk that can consume us. How does faith impact your life? When our worries turn into prayers to God for guidance and comfort, we find peace.

“Every time you start to worry, you should stop and turn the worry into a prayer. If you prayed about everything you worried about, you’d have a lot less to worry about. Worry won’t change anything. But prayer can change everything!” Rick Warren

#2 How does Faith impact Your life? Faith turns Fear into Courage

One example of how faith impacts your everyday life is its ability to help you overcome fear . Fear is a powerful emotion that has the power to consume us.

I used to be fearful whenever I boarded an airplane. I prayed specifically for God to help me be set free from this fear. Eventually, as my faith grew, I was able to let go and trust God when flying.

It took my faith a while to combat fear and turn it into courage, but now I enjoy flying. How does faith impact your life? Faith helps you turn an all-consuming fear into a victory of courage.

#3 How does Faith impact your Life? Faith turns Mistakes into Growth

I dislike making mistakes but make them anyway; we all do. But when you understand how faith impacts your life, you realize you don’t need to stay stuck in the aftermath of a bad decision and can learn and grow.

Most of my greatest spiritual growth has followed a great loss , struggle, or mistake.

#4 How does Faith impact your life? Faith turns Relationship Trials into Stronger Connections

Relationships bring joy to our lives and are an important link to growing in our faith. But relationship trials and conflict find us and can derail our spiritual growth. When we ask God to turn our hurt, betray al, or rejection into understanding and forgiveness , we grow.

When we grow instead of staying stuck in bitterness , resentment, and disappointment , we enjoy stronger connections with our family, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. We learn to see others through the beautiful lens of God’s great love.

#5 How does Faith impact your life? Faith turns Conversations into Compassion

Relationships require staying connected so we typically have multiple conversations throughout our day. Some are casual and some are more intimate. Some are in-person and some are written. But when faith is laced through our conversations we learn to listen and respond from a place of love and selflessness and we grow in compassion.

A conversation fueled by kindness can change someone’s outlook and give them hope.

“Are you listening to this? Really listening? Listen carefully to what I am saying—and be wary of the shrewd advice that tells you how to get ahead in the world on your own. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity. Stinginess impoverishes.” Mark 4:23-25 MSG

#6 How does Faith impact your life? Faith turns Anger into a Release to God

Anger is another emotion that robs us of a free life. I like to think of anger as a balloon full of air. I envision slowly releasing my anger or the air out of a balloon to God.

You may need to repeat this imagery but when anger is released to God we find calm and restored joy.

“A [shortsighted] fool always loses his temper  and  displays his anger, But a wise man [uses self-control and] holds it back.” Proverbs 29:11 AMP

#7 How does Faith impact your life? Faith turns Doubt into Preparation

Doubt is a great enemy of faith. We can turn our doubt over to God and ask Him to guide us to the truth.

We can use our doubt to prepare us to learn to trust God with our next steps. If doubt is not addressed it can spiritually drain us and make us stagnant in our faith.

#8 How does Faith impact your life? Faith turns Complaining into Gratitude

For some reason, it is easy to complain. Doesn’t it seem that we default to complaining? We can complain about the weather, our job, our spouse, or our kids. Even when I pass people talking on their phones complaining seems to be the conversation of choice.

Complaining just comes too easily to us. We all need time to process and unravel situations, but we can learn to complain constructively; airing grievances, struggles, or pain to decompress and find solutions not just download criticism.

A true test that faith is impacting our lives is when we can focus on being grateful for what we have instead of complaining about what we don’t have.

When you are invested in how faith impacts your life, you catch yourself complaining and turn it toward gratitude.

#9 How does Faith impact your life? Faith turns Judgment into Reflection

We all have opinions and make judgments. Some judgment is needed to help us make good decisions . But judging can also turn our hearts away from God and cause us to feel superior.

Judging others to discredit them and elevate ourselves reveals a hole inside of ourselves that needs to be filled.

When we catch ourselves judging we can take time to reflect on ourselves and our motives. We can ask God to reveal what is causing us to be trapped in judgment. Spiritual reflection helps turn our thoughts and doubts about a person or situation over to God and be set free.

Although it is easy to judge, it requires strength and wisdom to encourage and affirm.

“Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults —unless, of course, you want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging. It’s easy to see a smudge on your neighbor’s face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own. Matthew 7:1-2 MSG

“So the next time you start to judge something or someone else, think about all the times you’ve judged yourself. Give the same mercy for others that you would want for yourself. You’re just one perspective and there are as many perspectives in the world as there are people.

So choose your words carefully because we shroud our words with a judgment that is self-defeating, negative, and doesn’t help us get any closer to our goals  and values.”

Rubin Khoddam Ph.D.

#10 How does Faith impact your life?  Faith Turns Self-focus into Christ Focus

The most important example of growing, living faith is a pivot from self-focus to Christ-focused. This does not come naturally and is impossible without a living thriving relationship with Jesus. But it is an exciting, liberating adventure when we take the focus off of ourselves and focus on Jesus.

“So, don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:31-33 NLT

Bible Verses about Faith

Bible stories and verses about faith strengthen our connection with God and give us direction. The Bible is powerful and takes on a living form when you use it as a reference to understand how faith impacts your life.

We are enough and our faithfulness to God is enough.

How does faith impact your life? You walk in the peace of belonging to God and knowing He is beside you to provide wisdom, comfort, and help.

When we put our faith into action, we are blessed to see God move in our lives , change us, and influence the people around us.

5 Bible Verses About Faith

  • Galatians 2:19-20 MSG

“What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn’t work. So, I quit being a “law man” so that I could be  God’s man. Christ’s life showed me how and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with him. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ.

My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not “mine,” but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that.”

  • Hebrews 11:6 ESV

“And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

  • James 2:14-17 TLB

“Dear brothers, what’s the use of saying that you have faith and are Christians if you aren’t proving it by helping others? Will  that kind of faith save anyone? If you have a friend who is in need of food and clothing, and you say to him, “Well, good-bye and God bless you; stay warm and eat heartily,” and then don’t give him clothes or food, what good does that do?

So you see, it isn’t enough just to have faith. You must also do good to prove that you have it. Faith that doesn’t show itself by good works is no faith at all—it is dead and useless.”

  • Ephesians 2:8-10 NASB

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this  is  not of yourselves,  it is  the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.    For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”

  • Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG

“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil!”

How Does Faith Impact Your Life?

I hope you believe and grasp how faith impacts your life. Prayer, reading books about spiritual growth, and studying the Bible will help you walk in your faith day by day.

And don’t give up! God will meet you wherever you are right now.

To experience a positive, joyful faith journey, it is also important to be active in a church, serve as often as possible, and be part of a small group to help hold you accountable.

100-Word Faith Stories: (Very) short essays about unexpectedly experiencing God in the world today

faith essay 200 words

In new life—whether in the priesthood or bringing a child into the world—we can experience God in new ways. Faith comes from surprising places. We asked readers to share stories of surprising moments of faith in no more than 100 words. In these (very) short essays, they describe their faith journeys found through these experiences with life. They show how faith can be strengthened in these small yet meaningful ways.

I am currently pregnant, but my husband and I know there are several problems with this pregnancy. We don’t know what the end will look like, but there is a chance our third baby will not survive. In the midst of this, I feel God tapping me on the shoulder through prayer, Scripture or those around me trying to say: “No, you don’t know the outcome yet, but I’m with you through it all. I haven’t abandoned you. Trust me. I’m here, I’ve got you, and I love you. Elizabeth Hokamp  Sterling, Kans.

We’ve lost our intimacy with the life and death of things we eat. Humans can pretend their meat wasn’t a living being before it arrived at the market elegantly wrapped. I have never said grace so earnestly as I did after hunting, cooking and eating a woodcock. As the instrument of my dinner’s demise, I felt sad and grateful for its life and that it died on my behalf. Giving thanks to God for his creature, I thought of how serious a decision it is to eat meat, to take a life, when other options are available. God provides.  Anthony Giattino Yonkers, N.Y.

May 17, 1975. I lay prostrate on the cold marble floor of the cathedral in Trenton, N.J., preparing to be ordained a Catholic priest. I listened to the Litany of the Saints being sung. When the music concluded, I began to right myself from the floor. My hands touched the marble where my body had been, and it was warm. This was what servant priesthood would be for me; to draw from the cold world, and absorb in my body all that is cold, and make it warm with the love of God within. My soul smiled with joy. Msgr. Charlie Cicerale Willingboro, N.J.

The day arrives. The manufacturing business that sustained the family over generations succumbs, a victim of change. Virtually nothing is left. He worries. What will he do now, in middle age? How will he provide for his family?

On his weary way home, he feels conflicted. To visit a cheery, well-lit pub or a quiet church? Both are on his path. Inexplicably, he chooses to trudge into the church, slipping into the back pew. It is deserted and peaceful; the light of the tabernacle comforts. “Fear not; I am with you always.”

Comforted, he walks out of the church. Faith strengthens. Tom Thomas Bengaluru, India

It’s his smile, a toothy grin that, spread wide, creates five deep dimples across his face. It brings God close every time I see it. During the pandemic, his smile was lost in the confusion of a deaf child unable to read lips concealed behind masks. But he refused to disappear. Educators taught him creative ways of connecting, like using big buttons with their smiling faces on it, and being more intentional with their eye contact. He and his teachers navigated the barriers until the barriers finally came down. It is his smile that, for me, is faith made real. Gretchen Crowder Dallas, Tex.

Essays About Religion: Top 5 Examples and 7 Writing Prompts

Essays about religion include delicate issues and tricky subtopics. See our top essay examples and prompts to guide you in your essay writing.

With over 4,000 religions worldwide, it’s no wonder religion influences everything. It involves faith, lessons on humanity, spirituality, and moral values that span thousands of years. For some, it’s both a belief and a cultural system. As it often clashes with science, laws, and modern philosophies, it’s also a hot debate topic. Religion is a broad subject encompassing various elements of life, so you may find it a challenging topic to write an essay about it.

1. Wisdom and Longing in Islam’s Religion by Anonymous on Ivypanda.com

2. consequences of following religion blindly essay by anonymous on ivypanda.com, 3. religion: christians’ belief in god by anonymous on ivypanda.com, 4. mecca’s influence on today’s religion essay by anonymous on ivypanda.com, 5. religion: how buddhism views the world by anonymous on ivypanda.com , 1. the importance of religion, 2. pros and cons of having a religion, 3. religions across the world, 4. religion and its influence on laws, 5. religion: then and now, 6. religion vs. science, 7. my religion.

“Portraying Muslims as radical religious fanatics who deny other religions and violently fight dissent has nothing to do with true Islamic ideology. The knowledge that is presented in Islam and used by Muslims to build their worldview system is exploited in a misinterpreted form. This is transforming the perception of Islam around the world as a radical religious system that supports intolerance and conflicts.”

The author discusses their opinion on how Islam becomes involved with violence or terrorism in the Islamic states. Throughout the essay, the writer mentions the massive difference between Islam’s central teachings and the terrorist groups’ dogma. The piece also includes a list of groups, their disobediences, and punishments.

This essay looks at how these brutalities have nothing to do with Islam’s fundamental ideologies. However, the context of Islam’s creeds is distorted by rebel groups like The Afghan mujahideen, Jihadis, and Al-Qa’ida. Furthermore, their activities push dangerous narratives that others use to make generalized assumptions about the entire religion. These misleading generalizations lead to misunderstandings amongst other communities, particularly in the western world. However, the truth is that these terrorist groups are violating Islamic doctrine.

“Following religion blindly can hinder one’s self-actualization and interfere with self-development due to numerous constraints and restrictions… Blind adherence to religion is a factor that does not allow receiving flexible education and adapting knowledge to different areas.”

The author discusses the effects of blindly following a religion and mentions that it can lead to difficulties in self-development and the inability to live independently. These limitations affect a person’s opportunity to grow and discover oneself.  Movies like “ The Da Vinci Code ” show how fanatical devotion influences perception and creates constant doubt.

“…there are many religions through which various cultures attain their spiritual and moral bearings to bring themselves closer to a higher power (deity). Different religions are differentiated in terms of beliefs, customs, and purpose and are similar in one way or the other.”

The author discusses how religion affects its followers’ spiritual and moral values and mentions how deities work in mysterious ways. The essay includes situations that show how these supreme beings test their followers’ faith through various life challenges. Overall, the writer believes that when people fully believe in God, they can be stronger and more capable of coping with the difficulties they may encounter.

“Mecca represents a holy ground that the majority of the Muslims visit; and is only supposed to be visited by Muslims. The popularity of Mecca has increased the scope of its effects, showing that it has an influence on tourism, the financial aspects of the region and lastly religion today.”

The essay delves into Mecca’s contributions to Saudi Arabia’s tourism and religion. It mentions tourism rates peaking during Hajj, a 5-day Muslim pilgrimage, and visitors’ sense of spiritual relief and peace after the voyage. Aside from its tremendous touristic benefits, it also brings people together to worship Allah. You can also check out these essays about values and articles about beliefs .

“Buddhism is seen as one of the most popular and widespread religions on the earth the reason of its pragmatic and attractive philosophies which are so appealing for people of the most diversified backgrounds and ways of thinking .”

To help readers understand the topic, the author explains Buddhism’s worldviews and how Siddhatta Gotama established the religion that’s now one of the most recognized on Earth. It includes teachings about the gift of life, novel thinking, and philosophies based on his observations. Conclusively, the author believes that Buddhism deals with the world as Gotama sees it.

Essays About Religion: The importance of religion

Religion’s importance is embedded in an individual or group’s interpretation of it. They hold on to their faith for various reasons, such as having an idea of the real meaning of life and offering them a purpose to exist. Use this prompt to identify and explain what makes religion a necessity. Make your essay interesting by adding real-life stories of how faith changed someone’s life.

Although religion offers benefits such as positivity and a sense of structure, there are also disadvantages that come with it. Discuss what’s considered healthy and destructive when people follow their religion’s gospels and why. You can also connect it to current issues. Include any personal experience you have.

Religion’s prevalence exhibits how it can significantly affect one’s daily living. Use this prompt to discuss how religions across the world differ from one another when it comes to beliefs and if traditions or customs influence them. It’s essential to use relevant statistical data or surveys in this prompt to support your claims and encourage your readers to trust your piece.

There are various ways religion affects countries’ laws as they adhere to moral and often humanitarian values. Identify each and discuss how faith takes part in a nation’s decision-making regarding pressing matters. You can focus on one religion in a specific location to let the readers concentrate on the case. A good example is the latest abortion issue in the US, the overturning of “Wade vs. Roe.” Include people’s mixed reactions to this subject and their justifications.

Religion: then and now

In this essay, talk about how the most widespread religions’ principles or rituals changed over time. Then, expound on what inspired these changes.  Add the religion’s history, its current situation in the country, and its old and new beliefs. Elaborate on how its members clash over these old and new principles. Conclude by sharing your opinion on whether the changes are beneficial or not.

There’s a never-ending debate between religion and science. List the most controversial arguments in your essay and add which side you support and why. Then, open discourse about how these groups can avoid quarreling. You can also discuss instances when religion and science agreed or worked together to achieve great results.

Use this prompt if you’re a part of a particular religion. Even if you don’t believe in faith, you can still take this prompt and pick a church you’ll consider joining. Share your personal experiences about your religion. Add how you became a follower, the beliefs that helped you through tough times, and why you’re staying as an active member in it. You can also speak about miraculous events that strengthen your faith. Or you can include teachings that you disagree with and think needs to be changed or updated.

Short Essay & Paragraph On Faith For Students

Faith is what enables people to move on when things get difficult and what brings them back to good after bad decisions. It is important to show confidence in yourself and others around you. You never know how far your prayers will go for someone else, even if that person is the most unlikely.

Paragraph on Topic Faith in Yourself

Just like my family, I’ve always had faith in myself, but it wasn’t there all the time. I’ve often made the wrong decisions: preferring boys to friends; spending time with people who haven’t encouraged me; not doing my homework or homework because I was too busy hanging out with friends, and spending money because I didn’t think about the future.

I was fortunate to have a family who loved me no matter what, and they were always there to pick me up when I fell. They never gave up on me and never lost faith in me.

The Faith paragraph

I think that’s the most important thing about faith; it has to be worked on. You can’t just say “I have faith” and then don’t do anything about it. It is something that you must earn through your actions and prayers . God always listens, and he will help you if you let him.

No matter, what happens in this life, I know that my loved family and I will always have faith in each other, in ourselves, and God. It is something that can never be taken away.

What exactly is this belief? Webster’s dictionary defines it as trust or confidence in a person or thing. In the Bible, faith is described as the certainty of hope, the conviction of things that cannot be seen (Hebrews 11:1). What does it all mean?

To put it simply, to believe is to believe in something that cannot be seen. It is trust in God no matter what happens in your life. It has hope for the future, even when it is difficult. Faith also means being willing to do whatever is necessary to follow Jesus Christ, even if that means making sacrifices.

Faith was everything to me. It was the light at the end of the tunnel in difficult times, and it gave me hope when I didn’t think it would get better. It was also a source of strength when I needed it most. And I know that I am not alone—millions of people around the world believe in God, no matter what their religious beliefs may be.

What does it all mean for you? Well, first and foremost, it means that you are never alone. No matter what happens in this life, you can always turn to God for help . He is always there for you and will never leave you. Second, it means that you should always have hope for the future.

It’s tough right now, but it’s getting better. God has a plan for your life and he will never misdirect you. After all, it means that you should always be ready to do whatever is necessary to follow Jesus Christ. Even if it’s difficult or you have to make some compromises, it will be worth it in the end.

Essay On Faith

Faith can be defined as a belief in something for which there is no proof or evidence. It is often associated with religious beliefs, but it can also refer to a belief in oneself, in others, or in a higher power or purpose. Faith can provide individuals with a sense of purpose and direction, and can also help to provide comfort and security in difficult times.

Faith can also play a significant role in shaping one’s values and actions. For example, religious faith may influence an individual’s views on issues such as morality, social justice, and the environment. Faith can also be a source of inspiration and motivation, encouraging individuals to take positive actions in the world.

However, faith can also be a source of division and conflict. Different individuals and groups may have different beliefs and values, and these differences can lead to disagreements and even violence. It is important for individuals to respect the faith and beliefs of others, even if they do not agree with them.

Faith can be a personal and private matter, and the level of importance placed on it can vary greatly from one person to another. Some people may find that faith plays a central role in their lives, while others may have little or no interest in it. Regardless of the level of importance placed on faith, it can have a profound impact on an individual’s life.

Short essay on faith in God

Faith in God is the belief in the existence of a higher power or supreme being who is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the universe. This belief is central to many religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, and it can play a significant role in shaping an individual’s values, actions, and worldview.

Believing in God can provide individuals with a sense of purpose and meaning in life, as well as a source of comfort and guidance in times of difficulty. It can also serve as a moral compass, providing individuals with a framework for making ethical and moral decisions. Additionally, believing in God can help individuals to find a sense of belonging and connection with a larger community of believers.

However, faith in God can also be a source of controversy and debate. Some individuals may question the existence of God or reject the idea of a higher power altogether. Additionally, different religions may have different beliefs about the nature of God and how to worship or connect with him, which can lead to conflicts and misunderstandings.

Ultimately, faith in God is a deeply personal and subjective belief that can have a profound impact on an individual’s life. For some, it can provide a sense of hope and peace, while for others it may not be a significant part of their life. Regardless of one’s personal beliefs, it is important to respect and tolerate the diverse perspectives and faith of others.

Short essay on faith can move mountains

The phrase “faith can move mountains” is often used to express the idea that faith can accomplish seemingly impossible tasks and overcome great obstacles. This phrase is rooted in religious and spiritual beliefs, and suggests that faith in a higher power or in oneself can be a powerful force for change and progress.

Faith can provide individuals with the courage and determination to tackle difficult challenges and pursue their goals. It can give people the strength to persevere in the face of adversity, and the belief that they can achieve their dreams. By having faith, individuals can overcome their fear, doubts, and insecurities, and can approach their challenges with a positive attitude and unwavering determination.

Faith can also be a source of inspiration and motivation for others. When individuals have faith in their abilities and in the possibilities of the future, they can inspire and motivate others to do the same. This can create a positive and productive environment, where people work together towards a common goal, encouraged by each other’s faith.

However, faith alone is not enough to move mountains. It must be combined with hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Faith can give you the determination and motivation to keep going, but it is the actions that you take and the effort you put in that will ultimately make the difference.

In summary, faith can be a powerful force that can help individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve great things. It can provide strength, motivation, and inspiration, and can give people the courage and determination to pursue their goals and make a positive impact in the world.

CV Example Marketing

As a marketer, you’re responsible for the promotion of a brand or product. You could be monitoring website traffic, running e-mail campaigns, writing copy, capturing sales leads and much more. In addition, you’ll need to stay on top of the latest marketing trends and developments and conduct customer research in order to market brands or products effectively.

Given the variety of tasks and responsibilities in marketing, you’ll need to demonstrate a wide range of skills to land that coveted marketing job.

With competition for marketing jobs high, how can you stand out from the crowd? We’ll show you how with our writing tips and our marketing CV example .

Contact information

While it’s easy to overlook the basics, how you present your contact details or what information you add or leave out, can say a lot about you. For instance, is your e-mail address an outdated AOL, Yahoo or Hotmail address or does it contain something inappropriate?

Do you have a LinkedIn account ? Not having a social media presence can signify to recruiters that you’re behind the times as marketing is all about brand awareness and social media is a huge part of that.

For creative fields, you’ll also need to include a link to a portfolio, showcasing your work, which could include, for example, campaigns, YouTube videos, blog or website content, designs, etc.

Personal statement or personal profile

Your personal statement or personal profile is like the sales pitch you would make to customers. In the same way, you would focus on the benefits of a product or service, your personal statement should communicate your value proposition, so that it’s clear to recruiters what you bring to a company.

Focus on quantifiable results and specific skills . For example, you may have increased website traffic by 25% through SEO, run an e-campaign that generated 10 new leads a month or managed a product launch within a tight timeframe:

As a results-focused content marketer with 9 years’ experience, managing blog content, website projects and social media. Led £1M large-scale web redesign project, affecting 1, 000 pages. Achieved 50% increase in organic traffic, after implementing SEO and audit recommendations. Familiar with Salesforce and MailChimp.

Work experience

Your value as a marketer is measured by how much revenue or traffic you can generate. Whether you’re promoting a product or service, the end goal is to ultimately accumulate likes, social media shares or increase traffic and revenue.

Therefore, when describing your tasks and responsibilities, it’s important to mention how your efforts brought value to the business:

Jan 2018 – present Content Marketing Lead, Pipedrive, London

  • Led £1M large-scale web redesign project, affecting 1,000 pages.
  • Achieved 50% increase in organic traffic to 25,000 visitors monthly, after implementing SEO and content fixes.
  • Trained junior team members on web content best practices.

Aug 2014 - Dec 2018 Content Marketer, Abacus Marketing, London

  • Wrote 4 blog posts monthly on marketing topics to drive brand awareness and website traffic.
  • Collected customer data and analysed interactions and website traffic to improve blog conversion rates by 10%.
  • Garnered 5,000 likes for a Facebook campaign, promoting the local homeless shelter.

Sep 2012 - Jul 2014 Marketing Assistant, 121 Marketing, Leeds

  • Managed the company’s social media accounts, averaging a 20-percent follower growth across all platforms.
  • Created a series of short YouTube videos to promote brand awareness.
  • Improved the open rate for the company’s e-mail newsletters by 25% through effective copy.

If you don’t have any experience in marketing, it’s easy to get some by volunteering your services to a charity, starting a blog or even creating social media posts to generate likes. An effective way to develop your digital marketing skills is to take a product that already exists and try to improve its copy, write an ad for it (without publishing it) or create a video to promote it. You can then include your work in your portfolio. Make sure that you don’t publish your work online to avoid misleading followers about your relationship with the brand.

While you don’t need a degree to work in marketing, it can help to boost your application. Degrees have the advantage of providing a comprehensive foundation in the field, although the number of certifications offering this are also on the rise.

If you have an unrelated degree, highlight the modules where you had to use media applications or design and copywriting skills:

Sep 2008 - Jul 2012 Marketing Communications (BA Hons): 1st class, University of Bournemouth

  • Modules included: principles of marketing and marketing communications, digital technologies, content creation and principles of branding.

As a marketer, you’ll need knowledge of specific tools and skills, depending on your role. For instance, if you’re an SEO specialist, your skills should include keyword research and content creation. If you’re a performance marketer, some of the desired skills include PPC, lead nurturing, video editing, content creation, web design, and mobile optimisation.

In marketing, social proof is the phenomenon whereby people take their cues from other people, meaning they’ll only buy a product if it has good reviews or recommendations from other customers.

Recruiters work the same way. Therefore, rather simply listing your skills, back these up with examples:

Website redesign: Led website redesign project to increase traffic by 50%.

Content management systems: Posted marketing copy to company site using Craft CMS.

Analytics: Optimised company website to increase time-on-page by analysing data reports on page performances.

Social media: Managed social media accounts, averaging a 20-percent follower growth across all platforms.

Communication: Cultivated working relationships with clients through recreational business meetings.

Certifications

Marketing is a fast-changing industry and if you don’t show that you’re keeping your skills up-to-date, you could look out of touch to recruiters.

Luckily, there are of lot online courses available to help you refresh your knowledge in Google Analytics, content marketing, SEO, social media, e-mail marketing and much more:

Jan 2019 The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Google Digital Garage

  • Modules included: analytics and data insights, business strategy, content marketing, display advertising, e-commerce, e-mail, SEO, SEM and social media.

Mar 2019 Content Marketing, Hubspot Academy

  • Learning to develop a content creation framework for producing effective content on a consistent basis.
  • Creating and repurposing content for readers and search engines.

Jun 2019 SEO Foundations, LinkedIn Learning

  • Learning how to conduct keyword research, build internal and external links, optimise content, measure successes and plan for a long-term SEO strategy.

Professional Affiliations

Listing professional affiliations on your CV can demonstrate your commitment to the marketing industry and show that you are on top of current marketing developments and trends.

In the marketing field, the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) is the world’s leading body and is recognised by most, if not all, employers.

The institute offers several membership options, some of which allow you to work towards Chartered Marketer status:

Professional affiliations

Apr 2018 – present Chartered Institute of Marketing (Associate ACIM)

Hobbies and Interests

While this section is optional, it can be worth including your hobbies and interests if you don’t have professional marketing experience, but in your spare time, you run a blog, write articles on Medium (an open online publishing platform), create YouTube videos or manage social media accounts for your parents’ company:

  • Write 4 articles on self-development on Medium per month, averaging 1,000 likes for each article and earning £1,000 in total.

Format and layout

Most marketing roles will require some experience. To show recruiters that you have the necessary expertise and skills, a reverse-chronological CV (where you put your most recent experience first) or a hybrid / combination CV (which highlights your most recent experience and achievements) is best.

If you’re lacking in experience and want to put the spotlight on your skills, then you may want to opt for a functional or skills-based CV .

Layout and design

In some marketing fields (e.g. website design), companies may welcome the use of colour in your CV. This does, however, very much depend on the company you’re applying to. If in doubt, it’s a good idea to visit the company’s website and social media pages to get a feel for its culture and brand.

If you decide to make use of colour, you should steer clear of overly bright colours as they can come off as less than professional and are more likely to be viewed negatively. Instead, stick to blues, purples and greys to highlight headings, subheadings and contact information.

Another option is to keep to the standard black and white format in your CV and introduce colour in your portfolio for design work, blogs, etc. That way, you can focus on the content and be sure that your CV will be read correctly by ATS . Use a ready-made resume template to easily adjust the colors of your resume fitting for the job you're applying for.

When it comes to fonts, Arial, Calibri, Georgia and Helvetica are all good choices as they are modern while being easy-to-read.

Hopefully, you now have everything you need to create your own marketing CV.

Now you know what a CV should look like . Here’s how to write a CV for marketing jobs step-by-step:

1. Create a top-notch marketing personal statement

A personal statement in a CV, otherwise known as a personal profile , is like your “elevator pitch”. It introduces you to your potential new employer, shows them what you have to offer, and tells them what you’re looking for. Your marketing personal statement should be 3-4 sentences in total, that’s about 50-150 words.

Tailor your CV to each job application by making sure your personal statement is in line with the job description. This means customising your personal statement by making sure what you have to offer matches the employer’s needs. Go so far as to use the same keywords wherever possible.

Your CV might be parsed by an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or skimmed through by a recruiter. Both will be scanning for keywords.

Your personal statement is where you can really let your marketing skills shine, but maybe not how you think. Restraint is key here. Keep it simple and to the point. No “marketing speak”, no pointless adjectives, no gimmicks. You want this statement to be easily read, informative, and readily parsed by an ATS .

Writing it is as simple as answering three questions:

  • Who are you as a marketing professional?
  • What are your USPs? (Think: skills, qualifications, and attributes.)
  • What are your goals, professionally speaking?

As you can see, this section starts your CV , but it’s best to write it last. You’ll be surprised at how easily it comes after you’ve written your work experience and skills sections (and that's why it's also called a CV summary ). 2. Update your marketing CV work experience section

The personal statement may be the hook, but the work experience section is definitely the meat of your marketing CV. This is true whether you’re writing a marketing assistant CV, marketing coordinator CV or even a marketing executive CV. The following advice applies just as well to digital and social media marketing.

Stick to the standard chronological CV format . Start from your most recent experience and work your way back from there. This is the order that recruiters and hiring managers expect to see and what ATSs can parse most readily. As a marketer you know the value of keeping your message clear.

Aim for up to six bullet points per role. Don’t just make a list of all your duties. Instead, quantify your CV achievements and demonstrate the impact you’ve had on your past employers. Use concrete examples and statistics wherever possible.

Start each bullet point with a CV action word , like managed , conducted , launched , or negotiated . Consider using the PAR (Problem, Action, Result) framework . It’ll make the process much easier. Using accomplishment statements rather than responsibility statements will also make a huge difference.

If you’re writing a marketing graduate CV or a digital marketing CV with no experience, then follow the above guidelines, but focus on any internships, placement work , and volunteer work you’ve done (even projects can show your transferable skills ).

If you have no experience at all (we all have to start somewhere), then consider writing a student or graduate CV instead.

3. include an education section in your marketing cv.

The education section is perhaps the easiest, after your personal details. Stick with the same reverse chronological format as your work experience section. Follow the template below for a clear layout.

You can include CIM (and similar) qualifications and certificates here or in an additional marketing CV section. There’s no need to include A-levels and GCSEs if you’re a university graduate and have some work experience under your belt. If you’re still studying, then include an expected graduation date.

When listing university degrees, include the name of your degree, the years you attended (with an expected graduation date if you’re still studying), and the name of the institution and its location.

If you do decide to include your high school education, then list all of your A-levels by subject, the years during which you studied them, the name of the school and its location. For GCSEs simply state how many you completed, the years over which you completed them, the name of the school and its location.

It’s often a good idea to mention Mathematics and English when stating how many GCSEs you’ve completed. Employers often need to see that you have passed in Maths and English as a bare minimum.

If you’ve just graduated from university or just finished school and don’t have much experience yet, then position this section above your work experience section and add some more details such as extracurricular activities .

Marketing graduate CV education example

A-levels: Business Studies, Economics, English, September 2017–June 2019

St Francis Academy, Manchester, UK

8 GCSEs (including Mathematics and English), September 2015–June 2017

4. Use the right marketing skills for your CV

You have to customise your CV to each job opening. This is as important in the skills section of your CV as it is in the personal statement and work experience section. The skills part of your CV has to show that you’re clearly a match for the advertised position.

What you want to end up with is a list of 5-10 hard and soft skills , backed up with concrete examples, that includes all the required skills from the job offer. How to get there? Set the advert aside for now and make a list of all your marketing skills (remember about your communication skills , too). There’s no limit on how many, the more the better. Save this list.

What you just created is a master list of marketing skills for your CV. Now bring that job advert back up and find all the matches from your list. Copy these across and you have the basic outline for your skills section.

Now add a sentence to each point on your list that shows how you’ve demonstrated that particular skill. Anyone can make an impressive list of marketing skills. What you’re doing is making it abundantly clear to the recruiter that you’re the real deal. Don't lie on your CV , though. An experienced recruiter will see through it.

Marketing skills for a CV

5. add extra sections to your marketing cv.

Your potential employer now knows quite a lot about your work history and educational background. That’s a huge part of who you are, both as a worker and a person. It’s not the whole story, though. Use additional sections in your marketing CV to fill in a little more of your portrait as a professional.

You can add sections that list your additional qualifications (e.g. CIM), achievements, awards, even hobbies and interests . Not many people do this and yet it can make such a huge difference. Just keep it professional and relevant to the job at hand and you can’t go wrong.

Do you speak any languages other than English? Speaking a foreign language is far less common in the UK than elsewhere and is a desirable skill in a huge variety of fields, whether it’s directly useful or not. There’s a wide range of reasons to add a list of languages to your CV.

The only thing you don't need to list on your CV is references . It's better to save space for more relevant CV sections .

6. write a marketing cover letter to go with your cv.

Whether it’s pitching a campaign strategy or doing any of the more realistic, day-to-day activities of a marketing professional, you know the importance of having the proper documentation prepared. Submitting a job application is like any other bureaucratic act: there are certain formalities that you cannot avoid.

A CV, be default, is accompanied by a cover letter. Actual, signed, hardcopy letters are going the way of tobacco ad campaigns, but cover letters aren’t going anywhere any time soon. Over 50% of employers still prefer candidates to include a cover letter. And if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing properly.

Start by using the right cover letter format . Once you have the formalities out of the way, grab your reader’s attention with a strong cover letter opening —lead with an impressive professional achievement. Showcase your skills and experience. Close your cover letter with a call to action: an opportunity to discuss your candidature further.

Include a cover letter unless it’s been made clear that your potential employer doesn’t want you to. Writing an effective cover letter can be daunting at first, but remember you're not writing an essay: simple and short cover letters have the highest CTR.

7. Other things to consider when writing a marketing CV

As a marketing professional, you’re very familiar with the importance of making a good first impression. There’s no such thing as an insignificant detail when it comes to a document as important as your CV. Recruiters are sorting through piles of the things, first impressions are crucial.

Keep in mind the following basic CV design rules :

  • Make your personal details clear and easy to find—leave them near the top of your CV .
  • Use subheadings to clearly break your CV structure down into sections.
  • Choose an appropriate CV font  such as Arial or Calibri. For a neat CV layout , make good use of white space.
  • Attach your marketing cover letter and CV as a PDF file unless explicitly asked for something else.

Proofread and spellcheck your marketing cover letter and CV to make it perfect . Ask someone else to read and proofread both documents. Use any of the apps, web apps, or programmes out there that can help you with spelling and grammar. The importance of having everything word-perfect cannot be overstated .

How long can a CV be? If you don't have years of experience under your belt, go for a one-page CV . Otherwise, a two-page CV model is fine.

if you're going to use a free CV template , remember to make it UK job market friendly. So don't add such details to your CV as date of birth , age and gender.

One final CV piece of advice : avoid using ‘Please find attached my CV’ when sending in your job application . It's old fashioned and doesn't sound good in the XXI century. Instead, go for 'I have attached my CV for your reference/review/consideration.'

Whether you’re just getting started as a marketing assistant or going for that elusive head of marketing post, your CV is that critical first step to getting there. Congratulations, you’re well on your way!

5 tips for your marketing manager cv.

Find out how to create the best marketing manager CV with these simple and effective CV writing tips.

Use a suitable format

While a skill-based CV might suffice for entry-level candidates, the best CV format for marketing manager roles is reverse-chronological. It allows you to shine a light on your experience with specific marketing manager responsibilities from previous roles – starting with your most recent.

Fulfil the design brief

Visuals are vital in marketing. So, when you’re marketing yourself, you’ll want your CV to look the part. Use clear headings, bullet-point lists and a touch of colour to balance readability with style. Using a marketing manager CV template is a quick and effective way to give yourself the right layout and design as a head-start.

Write in plain English

In marketing, you always want to connect with your target audience. For your UK marketing manager CV, that’s the recruiter. Speak their language with plain English rather than complicated jargon. If you need to use acronyms like ROI or PPC, make sure you include the full version before shortening – such as return on investment (ROI).

Check for keywords

Most marketing managers will know the importance of keyword research. But did you know that it can help your CV too? Look through the marketing manager job description for any specific terms they use, such as market trends, digital strategy, or marketing budgets – then be sure to include them in your CV. Not only will it tick boxes for recruiters, but it could also help you pass an ATS scan.

Crunch the numbers

As demonstrated by our UK marketing manager CV sample, numbers can really bring your achievements to life. Whether it’s the size of team you’ve managed or the budget you’ve controlled, specific figures can quantify your experience to show recruiters what you’re capable of.

Marketing manager CV personal statement

The professional summary or personal statement is the first section recruiters read on any marketing manager CV. It should be concise enough for them to read in full – around 2-4 sentences – with enough USPs to make them want to read on.

Include your years of experience, any specialisms or specific sectors, and some personal qualities that set you apart. There’s no need to talk about what you’re looking for in a job – remember, recruiters are the target audience in this case.

Going the Extra Mile When Applying For Jobs

Be active on linkedin.

The hiring process continues to shift, and keeping on top of your Linkedin is becoming increasingly important. Employers are turning more and more to the platform in order to look for the right people to join their businesses. It’s also a great resource to link to on your CV.

Be sure to add all of your relevant skills and experience to your Linkedin profile and start connecting with people in the industry. Following and engaging with the right people on Linkedin is a great way to build up your network and get you spotted by potential employers.

Sharing interesting content and your own thoughts on relevant industry topics shows potential employers that you are on top of industry trends, and engaged in the digital marketing sphere.

Many agencies will always be on the lookout for new talent. If you have a particular agency that you’d like to work at in mind, be sure to follow their page and engage with their posts.

Write a Blog

Writing a blog is a great way to show that you’re passionate about the industry you want to work in.

Keep the topics you write about relevant to your chosen discipline. For example, if you’re looking to get into social media marketing, you might want to discuss the latest Instagram trends or which social media platform is best to reach a certain demographic.

Check out the rest of our blogs for some inspiration.

Build your own online following

If you’re looking to further your career in paid social and are concerned that you lack professional experience, why not try working on your own social media presence? For example, creating TikTok content in an attempt to build a following would be a great way to show that you’re creative, proactive, and have a good knowledge of the platform.

Online Courses

There are a wide variety of free online courses and tutorials on all things digital marketing. Take a look at a few examples here.

Whilst they won’t teach you everything that you need to know, online courses are a great way to learn the basics or brush up on your existing skills. It also shows a potential employer that you’re actively seeking out new knowledge.

Anything that you have done that may make you stand out will be an asset. Maybe you’ve worked on your own E-Commerce site, helped out a family business with their digital marketing, or perhaps even started a business of your own during lockdown. If it displays one of the core qualities listed above, you should be shouting about it on your Linkedin and CV. This brings us to our next topic…

How Do I Write a CV For Digital Marketing?

There is no set formula to a good CV, and what each agency or organisation values the most will vary, but this structure will certainly help you to form the basis of a CV that converts!

Name and Contact Details.

This is pretty self-explanatory! Your personal details should ideally go at the top of your CV.

Open with a personal statement

This is your space to talk about yourself and summarise why you’re right for the job. Keep it to the point and impactful.

For example: ‘Creative Digital Marketing Professional with 1 years experience in account management. Looking to build on my experience of working with £100k accounts B2B and B2C clients in an agency environment.’

Work Experience

Work experience should always fall above the education section of your CV in terms of both content hierarchy and structure.

Try to list your work experience with a few key points detailing your main responsibilities and any skills that you gained from each position. Your most recent, or current position should have the most in-depth explanation, with the rest of your work experience being a little shorter.

It’s best to avoid sweeping statements. For example, don’t just say ‘this job made me realise that I was passionate about digital marketing’. Be sure to explain when, wh ere, why, and how you have demonstrated each skill or quality.

A good digital marketing CV example for this would be:

‘I am incredibly passionate about social media marketing, in particular, the balance of strategy and creativity that makes a great campaign. (WHY) I first discovered this passion during my voluntary position at my local learning centre, where I acted as their Social Media Manager (WHERE) in 2016 (WHEN.) I was in charge of thinking of new and creative ways to advertise across Instagram, Facebook, and Linkedin, and was responsible for scheduling and overseeing all of their organic posting.’ (HOW)

Education History

List your education history below your work experience. If you have a degree, be sure to pull out any relevant modules studied, or skills gained where appropriate.

If you have taken any courses or gained any additional qualifications, be sure to list these on your CV beneath your education history.

digital marketing cv example

Making Your CV Stand Out

As well as the standard CV content, there are a few other pieces of information you can include in order to strengthen your application.

Clients/industries you’ve worked in

You don’t necessarily have to list the client by name, but giving the industries that you’ve worked in is a great way to demonstrate the experience that you can bring to the table.

If you’re applying for a specific job, take a look at the agency’s website. Have they listed clients in any industries that you have worked in, and can draw experience from? If so, be sure to include this information in your CV or cover letter!

Facts and figures

Any way that you can demonstrate that you are driven to provide the best results for your client and business is a sure-fire way to help you stand out. Be sure to include examples of measurable results where possible.

Eg – ‘ Within my first month at X Agency, I increased my client’s ROAS from a 2.3 to a 6.1’ , or ‘My client was originally working on a £3k monthly budget, but being impressed with how my ads were performing, upped this to £5k monthly budget’ …

You can also highlight the size of the accounts or clients that you have worked on previously. Eg – ‘I have experience in working on £100k+ client accounts.’

Relevant Links

Be sure to include a link to your Linkedin, as well as your blog, E-Com site etc where relevant.

So, what next?

It’s now time to actively apply!

Be confident, and remember that at this stage in your career, you aren’t expected to know everything. What matters is that you are willing and eager to learn.

Here at Embryo, we’re always on the lookout for new talent. You can check out our current job openings here.

This guide will walk you through how to produce your own CV that emphasises your experience in an engaging and enticing manner, holding recruiters’ attention throughout.

Marketing manager CV structure & format

The structure of your CV is equally as significant as the compelling content within your CV.

Your structure needs to facilitate ease of reading, enabling recruiters to simply navigate your experience, clearly pinpointing your applicable skills.

A professional, concise and clear format is vital to maintaining recruiters’ gaze in a busy job market, ensuring your CV doesn’t become tedious to read.

This infographic highlights how to format and structure your CV, detailing exactly what sections to include .

CV structure diagram

Formatting Tips

  • Use bold headers to break up information into distinct sections and bullet points to facilitate ease of reading
  • Avoid over-designing your CV by avoiding any imagery such as company logos or headshots and keeping to a muted colour pallet and a distinct font
  • Maintain a CV length of 2 sides of A4, detailed enough to demonstrate your suitability without it becoming tedious to read

Structuring your CV

Highlight fundamental information within your CV by breaking up large blocks of text and working to a format that provides a logical reading flow.

Stick to the below section structure when producing your CV:

  • Contact details – Make your contact details easily accessible at the top of your CV
  • Profile – A summary introductory paragraph that represents your sector specific qualifications, experience and skills
  • Work experience / Career history – Record your career history in reverse chronological order
  • Education – Document any qualifications obtained, especially those pertinent to marketing manager roles
  • Interests and hobbies – This is an optional section where you are able to include hobbies and interests that add value to your CV

We’ll now talk you through how to construct each section within your own CV.

CV contact details

CV contact details

Make your contact details easily accessible by keeping this information to the top of the page, including only the essential information such as:

  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Provide a link to your LinkedIn profile if applicable

Remove extra information that isn’t required in the decision making process such as your date of birth, marital status, your full home address, or headshot photos that take up valuable space.

Marketing manager CV profile

Start your CV with a powerful CV profile to reel readers in.

Produce a short introductory paragraph (also called a personal statement ) at the top of the page that gives recruiters an insight into your experience, qualifications and core skills that are imperative to marketing manager positions.

CV profile

Your profile should engage recruiters at the top of the page, enticing them to read further into your experience, after identifying your suitability for the industry at first glance.

These tips will help you in creating your CV profile:

  • Avoid cliché statements such as “ I’m a passionate individual ” or “ I work hard ” and instead be unique, customising your profile to the marketing manager roles
  • Research the industry prior to creating your CV profile, adding any keywords or sector specific skills
  • Sell yourself, consider why you match the criteria for marketing manager roles and incorporate this in your profile
  • Stick to a length between 5-10 lines, enough space to summarises your experience with the ability to provide further depth elsewhere in your CV

What to include in your CV profile?

  • Previous companies worked for – Whether you work for a digital marketing firm, you’re a freelancer or worked for a PR agency
  • Level of your experience – Whether you have recently been promoted to a marketing manager, have extensive experience in the industry or consultancy experience
  • Marketing channel expertise – Are you a social media marketing expert? Or do you specialise in PR or content marketing?
  • Size of campaigns worked on – Have you worked on small niche projects or multi million pound global campaigns?
  • Qualifications – Detail any qualifications or courses specific to the industry such as marketing degrees
  • Tools used – Understanding of social media platforms, analytics, design software or project management tools
  • Core marketing manager skills – Record core soft skills such as innovation, creativity, communication, client management or commercial awareness

CV work experience

Give more depth to those roles related to the industry or your most recent positions – as those are the areas employers will want to know more about.

Structuring your roles

Prove your value with your role descriptions, giving recruiters an understanding of the roles you undertook and the impact you made within that position.

Use the below structure when compiling your role descriptions to achieve this.

CV roles

Provide an overview of your role, the company you worked for or the department you worked within, giving a concise summary to recruiters.

“Working for a marketing agency in London where I was responsible for the implementation of marketing strategies to maximise revenue for clients and support their business growth.

Towards the end of your CV, document any qualifications or courses you’ve obtained, reserving space for those qualifications imperative to marketing manager roles.

Including degrees or HNDs in advertising, business management, marketing or communications or courses such as CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing.

If you have space within your CV consider adding additional qualifications such as GCSE’s, A-levels, additional degrees and any vocational qualifications.

Interests and hobbies

Unlike other sections within your CV, hobbies and interest aren’t mandatory and should only be included if your interests will add further impact to your CV.

Consider hobbies that demonstrate soft skills that are pertinent to marketing manager roles such as organisation, creativity, communication and innovation.

Interests such as running a Facebook interest group, being part of a drama club or doing something creative individually such as painting or model building all showcase these strengths.

Essential skills for a marketing manager CV

It’s imperative to highlight your sector specific skills within your CV, enabling recruiters to clearly see your suitability for the industry.

Look to incorporate the below skills within your marketing manager CV :

How To Flunk Your University Interview

cv personal statement for marketing

What is a marketing personal statement?

Your marketing UCAS personal statement  is a chance to sell yourself to the university admissions tutors and show them why you would make a great marketing candidate. It’s a place to describe your skills and strengths, as well as your career plans and any relevant work experience you have completed.

You are allowed up to 4,000 characters to explain why you are applying for a marketing degree, so you need to make sure your statement is as polished as possible to stand out from the crowd.

How do I write a good marketing personal statement?

Successful marketing personal statements always use evidence to back up what they say - remember to always show, not tell!

You need to convince admissions tutors that you’re a good match for the programme, so if you claim to be committed, organised or inquisitive, then use examples from your life experience to demonstrate this.

To write a great marketing personal statement you need to start early, brainstorm some ideas, and then begin your first draft.

This will then need to be carefully revised and edited before asking family and friends for feedback. Incorporate their comments and suggestions, and see how it is improved before asking them to look at it again.

Read through our marketing personal statement examples above, which will give you an idea of what a good marketing statement looks like.

Make sure you proofread your statement for grammar and spelling before sending it off, and if you feel you need a little extra help, take a look at our personal statement editing services .

What should I include in my marketing personal statement?

Many students choose to start their marketing personal statement by picking a specific topic and explaining why they enjoy it, e.g. consumer behaviour or retail marketing.

Remember that admissions tutors only want candidates that are as passionate about the subject as they are.

As well as your motivations for studying marketing, think about your hobbies and extracurricular activities too. What skills have you learned from these and how will these help you in your marketing degree?

Talk about any work experience placements you have completed, e.g. working as a marketing assistant or digital marketing intern. What did you take away from this experience? Do you feel you have all the necessary personal traits and qualities that make a good university marketing student?

Your wider reading is also important, so it's worth mentioning anything you've read recently that you found interesting and why. This might be in a newspaper, magazine, journal or online. Generally, admissions tutors like students who express their views and opinions, and can back them up with evidence.

Essay on Faith: The Bible and Words of Faith

faith essay 200 words

Have you ever thought about faith? Do you really believe in something or someone? Is it a must thing to believe in something? In this world one can find an immense amount of religious beliefs and different streams. Well, faith is a great element that can influence someone’s life. Even if you are not a believer, but you have faith, things can go very different in your life.

Although it is not a short essay on faith or speech on faith in god, we have to find out the definition of this term. Faith is the complete confidence in things that one cannot see. Also, it is the fulfillment of things that one does not see. The Bible says about faith very clearly. One of the books of the Bible is called Hebrews. The eleventh chapter of this book starts from the definition of faith.

Our writers have many interesting and useful information according this line. They are very experienced. The support agents will help you with great pleasure, if you are interested in it. Our company suggests professional essay writing .

Very often faith plays a crucial role. There are cases when someone suffers from severe illness, but then a person gets well just because he has faith. He believes that nothing can hurt him. Have you heard that sometimes a man gets sick because he pronounces wrong words? If he/she always says, “Oh, I feel so bad, I have such an awful headache”, a person will plunge into worse condition. But when someone says, “Yes, I have a headache, but it is fine, I will be fine”, he/she indeed will feel better.

These are simple examples of how faith rules in our lives. By the way, if you need additional information or anything else concerning this topic, please make orders on our website . Here someone can find numerous papers. Please, read about our services. Probably it will help you to understand how our company can be helpful.

So, if you say, “Help to rewrite my paper ” or "write a short speech about faith in God" we will do it. All details one can clarify while reading the topics written above.

What the Bible Says about Faith?

Faith is a powerful force that changes things. It is able to create things. While reading the Bible and while looking at our lives, we can see our weaknesses. The Scripture teaches people to see themselves in Christ. Read more about Christianity and its worldview here: https://findwritingservice.com/blog/christian-worldview-essay-step-by-step-explanation

Do you talk to yourself? Surely you do. Our thoughts are talking to us. We are discussing in our mind what do we feel about things, how we view things, and what we want to happen. There is one more key aspect. Have you noticed how do you talk to yourself about yourself? Many people do not like themselves much. They have very poor opinion of themselves. Others can think too highly about themselves. They think they are smarter than others, they are always right while other are always not.

Mercy and grace of God give us forgiveness for all those mistakes that we have done. God wants someone to be the best person that he/she can be. He gives us talents, strength, and ability. Start to think about yourself how Jesus thinks about you. Begin to say the words that God says about you. He has a plan for everyone. Maybe you do not like your present life, but God wants you to have a great future.

Experience is also very significant. But in some cases someone should not trust it. Why we are talking about it? Because experience can spoil everything, while faith brings faded things back to life . Check important questions on life experience with us: https://findwritingservice.com/blog/the-essay-about-experience-is-it-good-or-bad

One more significant thing that we would like to mention in essay about faith is that when you make a mistake, do not say that you do everything wrong. It is not true. You do many good and wonderful things. If a person focuses on his failures, he will have a very bad opinion of himself. The good news is that you can talk to yourself in a way that can benefit you. The Bible says that Christians in spirit are seated in heavenly places. So, your body lives here on the Earth, but once you believe in Jesus Christ, your soul is seated in heavenly places. This aspect changes everything.

Our company has many essays written for you. We would be very glad to cooperate with new clients.

How to Release One’s Faith?

Faith is an obscure matter for many people. They get confused when think about it. What truly makes sense is that a person should not meditate about it too much. Just relax and trust in every single word of God.

This topic is so serious. On our site one can see that this is not the first case when we deal with such weighty themes. Besides, read our blog. We tried to gather all essential and important information and put it in essays. Indeed, they are interesting and helpful. Again, we offer professional essay editing. So, learn with us how to let out the faith.

1. Decide to trust God . This is an amazing moment. It opens the curtain. It is very important for having peace, joy, and hope.

2. The second necessary thing that someone must do is to have a child-like faith . What is that? A child believes everything that he is told. It is so simple. He knows nothing about this world and about how things work in this life. For these reasons, a child believes someone who tells him about Santa.

3. Do not dare to say, “I wish I had faith.” You already have faith . If you did not have faith, you would not come to the department store. You go there because you have faith you can buy something. It is fantastic how many faith someone uses every solitary day. You can easily continue this topic with essay creator online .

4. When you have faith in God, you understand that some things should not be changed . Faith can bring you into the rest of God . So, a person says with confidence, “If you do not want to change it in my life, let it stay like this.”

5. A person releases his faith when he/she prays sincerely . It is important to know that having faith does not mean using it. Somebody can have money in a bank, but he still is starving. It is vital to let it out.

Oprah Winfrey, a gifted host and brilliant person, claimed that she is Christian. She tells that faith helped her in many life situations. Like we have said previously, God gives us all. We have to find out how to trust Him.

A person needs to learn how to lean on God. When you sit in the chair you have faith that it will hold you up. It is comfortable, and you can lean on it. This is a pathetic example of how someone can lean on God. Another simple example: if you pay to write essay, you get it in time.

Faith helps us to get rid of confusion, jealousy, and distress. Someone may say that he is a person of faith, but it is not true. Open Mark 11:22 and read what is said there, “Have faith in God.” Jesus told that the smallest grain of faith gives a person strength and ability to move mountains.

Faith is the inheritance from God. It connects you and things that must occur in your life. The life itself becomes available when one has faith . Do not give up your faith. Sometimes you have to keep believing, keep trusting. The Bible says that God is faithful. He will make you to go through all obstacles with a smile on your face.

We thank you for reading this paper. We hope so much that it is useful. If you need, we can write other essays on faith. Apply to our services, we work hard for customers .

Essay on Faith in God (1446 Words)

God – An Omnipresent Strength

We wake up every morning and thank god for providing us another beautiful day in our lives. We offer prayers to God and thank him for all that he has given us in our lives.

We pray to god to offer us strength in times of sorrow and despair, we pray for special healing powers from him.

We seek blessings from god for ourselves and also for our near and dear ones. This sets us thinking as to why everyone seeks solace by putting themselves down before an unseen, unknown power, called God.

We may not be able to seek his presence, but a deep faith from within feels his very existence and this feeling is what exactly connects humans with God.

A connection is established between god and man, not unknowingly, but subconsciously in his mind, which he further strengthens and unfolds through his actions.

From the time a child is a small toddler, he is advised by elders of the house to thank god for any new thing he sees or does.

It is so believed that under the powerful blessings of god, the child starts learning new things and his ability further improves as he continues to bind himself strongly with god.

The child at his small, tender age perceives these insights and forms his own understanding about god.

The child is actually clueless what God actually is, but sees it as some unseen helping hand trying to come into play in all its activities.

As the child starts growing, he sees himself more connected with God, when his parents celebrate various kinds of festivals and seek god’s blessings as part of their everyday routine.

Witnessing this routine everyday takes the form of practice in the child’s mind and he sees himself connecting to god before doing anything small or big by him.

As he matures into an adult, practice is replaced by permanent faith in his heart, seasoned by everyday prayers and offerings to god and that’s when he starts believing that God is omnipresent around him, and the creator of the minutest thing around him, including his own existence is all thanks to the efforts of god.

He finds god’s presence everywhere, in his parents, in the things he uses, in the books that he reads, in himself and in just everything and everyone around him.

Different Religious Faiths

People pray to god in different ways. They opt for different paths to connect to God. The message sent out from all religions is clear and they all see god as one, single, universal power.

But the path to attain oneness with god varies from person to person and depends on their religious beliefs as well.

Religion plays the role of a medium that connects man to god by laying down certain principles and guidelines and expects its followers to follow them with conviction.

Adhering to the rules lying in religious scriptures and passing on these practices from one generation to the other has brought us to where we stand today.

Once a child is born in a family that is practicing a particular religion, the members of the family enforce their religious views on it and slowly instill faith in its tender mind.

The child becomes the carrier of these practices and he takes it to the next possible level and this continues from one generation to the next one.

India is a land of different religious faiths. We find people who go to temples to offer prayers to God, we find many others seeking blessings from lord by visiting churches, some others visiting mosques for finding oneness with god and many more.

All these religious beliefs provide their own channels to connect to God.

Likewise, people from different religions also differ in their cultural ways, lifestyles, food, clothing, celebrations and also the way they live.

Based on their religion, people also habitually develop different food habits, different ways of offering their services to god, idolization of god, etc.

In totality, religion is the base on which a person’s faith in god takes a particular shape and structure and finds its own unique path to reach oneness with god.

With religious beliefs arise the question of superiority leading to clashes between different religions.

India being a secular country gives total freedom to a person to decide on the religion he wants to follow. Nobody can force a person to practise a certain religion that is against his belief system.

Provisions for maintaining communal harmony and respect for all religions is laid down in our constitution and we as citizens of this country should abide by this without fail.

Belief in God as the Supreme Power

A certain student who is facing an examination the next day sits prepared to attempt his paper, but the same evening his father visits the nearby temple to offer special prayers to god to help his son with his exams.

Next day, before the son leaves for his exam, he also offers special prayers to God at his home and before actually starting the paper at the exam hall, thinks of God for a minute and then proceeds with the paper.

We can clearly see that though the student is prepared to take up the exam out of his own efforts, he builds up his confidence levels only after he connects to god in some way or the other.

That’s out of sheer practice. A belief inside the student assures him of a super power who would not let him down in case he faced some difficulty with the paper.

This belief system is thanks to the student’s family that has been instilling this belief in him since the time he was a child. Having this strong belief is by itself not wrong.

If the student puts all his efforts in completeness and then relies on god to add that final sparkle on his efforts, it makes the person accountable for his own attempts.

If the same person relies on god to such an extent where he puts his own efforts to the minimal but relies on a third factor called ‘luck’, then comes the negative side of the belief system.

In this scenario, the person is totally ignorant of his ability to perform in his tasks and is expecting some unseen magic to make it happen for him.

That’s the negative side of these belief systems that one should never get into. Hard work combined with faith in god to help sustain the hard work done is all that is required to achieve peace and happiness from one’s success.

Faith in God versus Superstitious beliefs

Over faith in god forces a person to bring in the presence of god into every simple thing he attempts or does.

A man opening a new shop or enterprise and seeking god’s blessings before beginning his business is said to be a fair and reasonable person.

If the same shop owner opens up a new enterprise and resorts to unfair means of trading in his business, he too is said to have faith in god but is making use of it in the wrong ways.

His faith in god is not allowing him to do the right things in his business because his thinking is not allowing him to do so.

The person believes that in spite of carrying out wrong deeds, he would still be able to flourish in his business since he has over faith or absolutely no faith in God.

An overdose of faith makes one believe that whether they act good or bad, god would still hold their hands by default. This wrong perception can also be treated as misfaith in god.

Idol worship is carried out at many religious places of worship. Some approve of it and some non-believers don’t. Worshiping god in the way they desire is one’s own personal choice.

Having wrong beliefs about a stone that absorbs milk into it and labeling it as having taken place due to god’s grace is nothing but superstitious thinking.

This has no way to connect with God and identifies unscientific, unreasonable practices and taking advantage in the name of god.

Praying to god for seeking motivation and strength to tread the hard path is true devotion towards god.

Offering prayers to god allows a person to calm down his senses and gives him a sense of relief from his duties. Faith in god provides strength from within to perform our duties with respect and utmost sincerity.

A feeling of well being and goodness is achieved when one seeks spiritual connections with god.

500 Words Essay On Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa was born on August 26, 1910, in Albania. In 1950, in Calcutta, India, she acquired Indian citizenship and started the Missionaries of Charity. She led the Missionaries of Charity's growth while providing care for the sick, elderly, orphaned, and needy for more than 45 years. She later took the initiative to other parts of the world. Pope John Paul II declared Blessed Teresa of Calcutta when she passed away and had her beatified.

Anjeze Gonxhe Bojaxhiu (later called Mother Teresa) was the youngest child of Nikola and Drana Bojaxhiu's, who were from Shkodra, Albania. Her father passed away when she was eight years old, and her mother brought her up as a Roman Catholic. When Anjeze was 18 years old, she left home to become a missionary with the Sisters of Loreto.

Contributions

After acquiring Indian citizenship, Mother Teresa spent a short time in Patna studying medicine at the Holy Family Hospital before venturing into the slums. She first established a school in Motijhil (Calcutta), but soon she began attending to the needs of the malnourished and poor. A group of young ladies joined her in her mission to start a new religious community that would benefit the "poorest of the poor" at the beginning of 1949.

Awards And Honours

Mother Teresa achieved international renown by the 1970s as a humanitarian and supporter of the weak and powerless. The Missionaries of Charity, founded by Mother Teresa, kept growing, and at the time of her passing, they were running 610 missions across 123 nations. On her 100th birthday in 2010, she was honoured internationally, and Indian President Pratibha Patil lauded her contributions.

Mother Teresa has been criticised by various people and organisations, such as Christopher Hitchens, Michael Parenti, Aroup Chatterjee, and Vishva Hindu Parishad, against the proselytising focus of her work, which includes a vehement opposition to abortion and contraception, a belief in the spiritual goodness of poverty, and alleged baptisms of the dying.

While visiting Pope John Paul II in 1983, Mother Teresa experienced a heart attack in Rome. She was given a synthetic pacemaker in 1989 following a second attack. After battling pneumonia while in Mexico, she had new cardiac issues in 1991. She offered to step down as leader of the Missionaries of Charity. In contrast, she was approved to remain by the order's nuns in a secret vote. Mother Teresa agreed to carry on her duties as the order's leader.

She passed away on September 5, 1997.

My Role Model: Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa is one of the most inspirational women I know about and serves as my role model. Mother Teresa was an epitome of compassion towards the needy. She was a kind, generous, and holy woman, and yet a risk-taker. She inspires me to strive for personal improvement. Mother Teresa once said – “Not of all us can do great things, but we can show a lot of love in little things”. This statement touched my heart the first time I read it and stays close to me till date.

💭 How to Write a 200-word Essay

This picture shows the structure of a 200-word essay.

When writing a 200-word essay, it’s essential to carefully choose each word because you have limited space to express your ideas. Creating a clear structure is crucial for this type of writing. In the following paragraphs, we will explore each section of the 200-word essay, offering helpful tips and advice.

Introduction

An engaging opening paragraph is vital when writing a 200-word essay. It should be concise, consisting of around 50 words that capture the essence of your topic. Avoid starting with trivial information, as it leaves little room for crucial details.

The introduction should include the following:

  • A hook to captivate readers
  • Background information to provide context
  • A thesis statement to convey the main idea

While this framework is not obligatory, it can assist you in organizing your thoughts effectively within the limited word count.

The body of a 200-word essay usually consists of 1-2 paragraphs that develop and support the thesis statement. To assist you in this process, we have prepared a mini guide. Follow these steps when writing the main body of your essay:

  • Craft a topic sentence . This sentence should reinforce the thesis statement and ensure a seamless transition from the introduction to the body.
  • Present the evidence. Including strong evidence will help persuade your reader of your perspective.
  • Add a transition sentence. Following the previous steps, guide your reader toward the conclusion smoothly.

The last part of your essay is the conclusion. Even though it is concise, it plays a crucial role in leaving a lasting impression. In a short piece of writing, a detailed recap is unnecessary. Instead, focus on two key elements:

  • Restate the core message. Rephrase your thesis statement, reinforcing the main idea of your essay.
  • Provide closure. Craft a single sentence that brings your readers to an end, leaving them with a sense of completion.

Essay on Faith

Faith is hope, faith is believing, faith is you know it is going to happen you just do not know when and how it is going to happen. One should always believe and trust in themselves and hold onto faith in their challenging period because that is exactly the point of faith, “it works”. Faith is aspiration that an individual has, that decides how the individual chooses to lead his life.

Faith gives power and strength to accept the failures of life to the individual, it gives them motivation and eagerness to achieve the goals of life and it comes from within the individual it cannot be taught or forced on anyone. When one’s faith is low or lost then he must be prepared for, as the failure is approaching.

Faith works as the base of any task / operation and if one is lacking the base which is faith, does not matter what skills or capabilities an individual has he cannot achieve its task / goals. Of course, having faith does not mean that your tasks or your life is going to be easy but by having faith you get strength to face those difficulties and hardship that may come in your way.

Lack of faith will lead to hopelessness which can affect the individual of how he sees himself and others. Hopelessness usually make a person negative he no longer feel the importance of things which once was precious to him, it is a powerful emotion that can influence an individual in suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, eating disorder it all leads to poor mental and physical health of the individual.

Faith does not need to be religious or non-religious it just makes your struggles, difficult times easy for the individual by giving them hope, people have faith in themselves, in others, in the God, does not matter who do you have faith in, the only thing that matters is that you believe something or someone.

If you have faith in yourself then you will follow your dreams and make them real, if you believe in yourself then you will also have faith in others that way others will also believe in you and if you have faith in God then you will also have faith in his timing, he will make you calm, make you believe that he is with you all the time, he takes control of all your struggles and worries and tells you to stop stressing yourself out and trust him.

With a little courage, hard work and faith by your side you can make the unachievable possible. Faith keeps your heart alive, it clears out the sadness, hopelessness and darkness away from you and bring happiness, hopefulness, calmness and satisfaction.

To sum up everything that has been stated so far, we all have faith in something or someone there are all sorts of faith and you must choose whatever makes your heart at ease.

“Faith demands you to believe in something you cannot see. You choose!”
